Spring Tablescape Featuring Hydrangeas and Shades of Blue
Hello friends! Today I’m joining a small but fabulous group of bloggers for our Styled + Set: Spring Home Style hop, hosted by Lory of Designthusiasm, and we’re bringing you some spring inspiration.
I’m so excited to be sharing my very first spring tablescape of the season today! If you are a regular reader or you’ve been here before, then you know how much I love doing table settings. In fact, when I started to plan for this last week, gather ideas, and play around with some plates and dishes, I actually got excited! There’s been a bit of a lull since Christmas with the exception of a couple of Valentine’s posts, and I was really missing the creativity. Table settings allow me to express myself in a different way, and I find it fun to try to come up with something different than what I’ve done before!
I found the little nests with the Robin’s egg blue eggs at Home Goods, and the minute I saw them, I started thinking blue floral napkins and blue hydrangeas!
The chargers are faux wood in a white wash grey color from Sur la Table. I love them!! They are such a great color and they work with so many different tables and styles.
Blue hydrangeas were a natural fit, of course!
The blue paisley napkins are a few years old, but I found a few similar ones here and here if you want to try to recreate the look. You could simply use a solid blue napkin, too!
The runner is a burlap colored linen that brings a little color to the natural colored tablecloth. I enjoy layering linens – it brings a little more depth to the tablescape.
The bunny cupcake holders are from Pottery Barn. I mean, how cute are these?! They are since discontinued but you can find them on Ebay, and I’ve found almost the exact same ones on Amazon!
And I love the little blue gingham egg cups!!
The whole table is a mix of different blues, some powdery and others more Robin’s egg blue, but I love that they all work together.
So there you have it! My pretty but simple spring tablescape in shades of blue! This would be perfect for Easter brunch, but it could easily be used for any spring occasion. By simply removing the bunnies, you could use it for anything from a luncheon to a shower.
Don’t forget to stop by my friend Annie’s pretty table next- and I hope you’ll visit all the talented ladies sharing below! There’s so much gorgeous spring inspo – it’s bound to bring some sunshine!
Here’s to some spring weather finally arriving!

Where did you get the gingham egg- you mentioned Rhett you for everything else but those !
Hi Jackie, and thank you! I linked the egg cups underneath the 7th photo and at the very end under “Shops the Post”!
Hope that helps!

Oh how I love blue hydrangeas!! And your white ironstone pitcher is lovely (I have the same one!). Such a pretty setting!
Isn’t that pitcher the best?! I bought it on clearance at Home Goods which makes it even better, haha!
Thanks so much Jennifer – can’t wait to see your spring table tomorrow!
