I think I’ve shared with you before that I never really decorated much for Halloween, mostly because I am not a huge fan of orange. But once those adorable little white pumpkins became available a few years ago, and stores started carrying all kinds of Halloween decor in black mixed with silver or white, I definitely got more into it!
Hi Everyone! If you are joining me from Kathleen at Lindsay Hill Interiors, welcome! And if you’re a regular reader, we’ve got something special for you this week! I’m joining with a group of amazing bloggers to bring you a monthly series on styling your coffee table. We wanted to do something consistent on a monthly basis that related to home decor, and we all agreed that one of the questions we get most from readers and friends is in regards to coffee table decorating. Most people want to do something stylish and fun, but they don’t know how to go about it. So we decided to have a monthly series on coffee table styling!
I absolutely adore fall, it’s by far my favorite season. And one of the things I look forward to most is pumpkin everything!
To say I love anything pumpkin would probably be an understatement. I love pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, but maybe most of all, I love pumpkin scented candles! I start burning them in September and would probably burn them all year if it weren’t for the fact that Christmas comes around!
If you’ve been reading my blog for awhile now, you know how much I love real art of some kind in a house! In fact, I think it’s so important in interiors that I made it one of the tenets of my series, Collected Look Essentials. However, one of the things I most love – an absolute favorite – is art in the kitchen!
Welcome to my fall home tour, and if you have come over from Fox Hollow Cottage, hello and welcome! I am so excited to be participating in the Autumn’s in the Air blog hop with eleven of my very favorite bloggers. Each of us is featuring some of our favorite things for Fall. Some are doing tablescapes, some are doing a room or two, and some a full fall home tour. I think you will see some very beautiful and inspiring spaces as these girls are good!
Freestanding tubs. Is there a more romantic look for a bathroom?! I’m not sure why they disappeared, but for decades it has been the trend to build a bathtub/shower combo, or in the case of my master, no tub at all (horrible!) Whatever the reason, the stand alone tub is back and I for one am thrilled to see it return!
