It’s been so long since I’ve written about fashion, so I felt like a summer fashion post was in order today! And what’s more summery, than swimsuits?! I don’t know about you, but they are not my favorite thing to shop for or buy. However, a black swimsuit is my secret weapon! Trust me, you can’t go wrong with one.
Summer is the season of fun in the sun, but it’s also the season of heat. And sunburns. And did we say heat?! Today I’m sharing my favorite summer essentials will help you get through the season in style – and comfort!
Summer is a season that kind of necessitates “essentials,” don’t you think? From a favorite beach towel to a favorite sunscreen, we all have things that help us get through, and enjoy, the season. These 5 summer essentials are my personal favorites and all of them make the season just a little easier, and a lot more fun!
We’ve always been smitten with French style when it comes to fashion. That effortless attitude that is casual yet oh-so-chic! And today, on Maison de Cinq we’re sharing the essentials you need to achieve that French style for summer!
As I’m sure you know by now, I’m a bit of a Francophile 😉
This spring, stripes are everywhere. From the classic French black and white tees, to bright striped dresses and tops, to cute, flowy pants. Just like gingham, they are one of my absolute favorite spring trends. They look crisp and fresh, even when the weather warms up. They’re timeless, practical, classic, and easily wearable. And how many things can we say that about?
As far as fashion trends go, we all know history seems to repeat itself. And gingham is a trend that seems to recur frequently in spring. I’m not sure if that’s always been true, but for the last few years it definitely has. And I can see why! Is there anything fresher, or happier, than gingham? It’s inherently cheerful and crisp (just like spring!) and it has timeless appeal.
