Spring is such a fun season to decorate for. I love that with just some simple touches, it’s so easy to create a pretty space. This week I’m sharing some easy ideas for creating spring in the living room. I added some florals, fresh plants, and a few seasonal changes to both the living and dining rooms, and they are definitely feeling ready for spring!
So ironically, as I write this it is pouring rain today! Well, it may be raining outside, but it is full-on spring in here! Today I’m sharing some easy spring decorating ideas in the living room, and I’m joining over 20 friends who are also sharing some spring mantel and vignette ideas.
I know some of you are still in the midst of full-on winter. But I also know that around this time every year I start thinking about spring, so I imagine it’s the same for a lot of you!
Spring decor, spring blooms, garden planning, and sunshine are starting to bubble up in my imagination. And though it’s too early to do much garden planning yet (mine is a bare mess right now!), it’s not too early for some simple spring styling with a few flowers and some vignettes in the kitchen!
Do you love spring as much as I do?! To me, it is one of my favorite seasons. There is just something so lovely about the flower buds popping out, the grass turning green, and some sunshine on your face after a long (and in my case, wet) winter!

It’s spring! Well, not exactly or officially, haha! But it is March. And we sprung ahead on the clocks this past weekend, so it’s as close as we need to be to decorate!
I know a lot of friends and readers who have asked me about decorating for winter or spring. It seems everyone decorates for the holidays, and that’s kind of straight up and obvious. Everyone gets that one. But winter and spring are another story. Especially when you don’t celebrate Easter, or when Easter is really late, like this year. It’s sometimes hard to figure out what the right balance is. How to do it easily. How not to get too “theme-y.” And how to do it without breaking the bank!
