Well, it’s really fall now – at least in most places! Our weather here has unfortunately resumed it’s summer personality, but I’m hoping for some relief soon. In the meantime, I’m decorating, baking pumpkin bread, and burning my favorite Pumpkin Soufflé candle. In other words, enjoying all-things-fall! 😉
A fall front porch is one of my favorite things about the season! Whenever I pass one all decorated with pumpkins and mums, it always seems so warm and inviting. There’s something inherently cozy about fall, and I love the outside of my home to reflect that!
Today’s post continues with more fall decorating, and as I did with my kitchen and mantel, I’m keeping it simple and subtle. This year I’m very into the faded versions of fall colors. Blush, faded greens and rusts, and some cream create a more subdued version of fall that really works for me right now. These are traditional fall colors, but in more muted and slightly toned down shades. This subtle fall decorating feels as seasonal as the brighter versions, and I love how soft and cozy it feels!
I don’t know about you, but I definitely never saw a pink pumpkin when I was a kid! In fact, I never even saw a white one until about 10 years ago. But I’m absolutely smitten with both! I just love all the heirloom and specialty pumpkins that are out now – and the fact that I don’t have to use orange just to decorate for fall makes my heart so happy! 😉
I can hardly believe it’s September, school has started, and we are entering my favorite season! Fall can never come soon enough for me. I love everything about it. The changing leaves, pumpkin spice anything, and cooler weather (well, that has yet to come, but you know, at some point!)
Good morning friends, today I’m excited to be hosting a fall blog tour! I’ve hosted my Autumn’s in the Air tour for three years now, and am so glad to be doing it again this year with ten of my favorite blogger friends.
For me, I think it’s always better to break up my tours by room. Not only is it overwhelming to go through a long tour, but this way you can see the rooms you’re most interested in without having to scroll through a ton of photographs. So today for my final tour of the season, I’m sharing my fall living room tour with you!
