This year’s fall home tour is full of the rich colors of autumn inspired by nature. These create a warm and cozy feeling just perfect for the crisp fall days ahead!
Last year I used very neutral fall decor with creamy mums, lots of white pumpkins, and almost no color. And although I love a neutral fall look, this year I wanted to do something more traditional…. but of course, not too traditional! 😉
Since spring isn’t quite like Christmas, with access to so many decor items, I tend to keep it pretty simple. I adore white flowers, and I try to have them as a focal point. I especially love the crisp green of the leaves mixed with the bright white flowers.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the first part of my Holiday Home Tour, I really appreciate all of you taking the time to visit! The reason I split my tour into two parts is that the two areas of my house are decorated so differently, they just didn’t seem to belong in the same post.

I absolutely love decorating for Christmas. Growing up I couldn’t wait for the season to start, and I was usually the one bringing out the bins from the attic and putting out the decor. Christmas has such warm memories for me, and part of my decorating is not only to celebrate the season, but also to hopefully create those same warm memories for my own children. Much of what I have is something we use over and over; ornaments and decor that we’ve used year after year. I love the traditions that the season brings, and the meaning that those traditions bring.
