This weekend we were at my nephew’s graduation. There is just nothing like a high school graduation! The kids are so happy and excited. The parents are full of pride. And the promise of a young life and all that lies ahead is such a wonderful thing to see! I always shed some tears and it makes me hopeful for the generation ahead just seeing all their hard work, pride and smiling faces…
Hi friends and welcome to another week of our link party, Sundays at Home! It’s been quite a crazy week for me, so I’m thrilled to be having three days to relax with my family and spend some time with friends! I also have to look for a new car (ugh…) but that shouldn’t dampen the fact that school is out and there won’t be any waking at 6:00a to make lunches for at least a little while! 😉
And now onto the party! Here’s what Kelly, Jennifer, Susan, Kristy, Julie & I have been up to this week…

And now, onto our Sundays at Home Link Party!

Hi everyone and welcome to another week of Sundays at Home, our weekly link-up party where you can link up your best decor ideas, DIY projects, recipes, and crafts!
Each Sunday I also share an inspirational quote. I love the idea of taking Sunday to be a day of reflection, and it helps me to start off the week in a good frame of mind. There is no rhyme or reason to what I post each week – I really just pick a quote that speaks to me on some level. They could be about parenting, career, love, or the trials of this thing we call life. And some are more reflective or deeper than others, as well. But it’s always a quote that has inspired me, and I hope they inspire you as well.
Hi and welcome to another week of Sundays at Home! It’s been a rather busy week here at MdC, with several posts this week as well as keeping up with the One Room Challenge. But yesterday we took a day to do some local wine tasting, along with a leisurely lunch, which is always a good day in my book! It’s amazing how just a short respite can make such a difference, isn’t it?
