I’m back with another “favorite picks” post from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I had mentioned in my first post all about women’s fashions and shoes that I was going to break it up, and so I have! The sale is so big, that putting it all into one post just seemed overwhelming.

So I’ve been looking for a dining room table for what seems like forever now! Not looking everyday, all-the-time mind you, but looking here and there and shopping around – for at least two years! I’ve been looking on the internet, in catalogs, shops, and antique stores, as well as on sites such as Chairish and Ebay.
I don’t know about all of you, but my husband and I definitely don’t do a big Valentine’s Day anymore. Gone are the years where a dozen roses appeared and a fancy dinner was had. And I’m fine with it. I actually love that we just do cards or small gifts, and sometimes a nice dinner at home.
Well, it’s only a little over two weeks until Christmas (how did that happen?!) and I know this is when the stress levels can really go up. Between ordering cards, hosting events with family and friends, having to bake or bring food to parties, and decorating our own houses, sometimes gift-giving can feel like a chore. However, I’m here to say it doesn’t have to be! I know there are people who don’t relish the job of hunting for gifts, but I actually love it. And filling the stockings is one of my favorite things to do! My husband and I still fill each other’s stockings and I bet we will even when the kids are gone!
