As I’m sure a lot of you know, I’m a candle lover! Candles are something I adore, and I almost always have one burning in the house. I love how they can warm up a space just with their scent. They can convey a feeling, a mood, or even a season. Truthfully, I can never have too many!
Patina Living Book: A Dream Life on a Dream Farm
If you’ve been a follower or subscriber of mine for any length of time, then I’m sure you know I’m a long time fan of designer Brooke Giannetti. I’ve featured her designs in the pages of Maison de Cinq many times, and I was an early reader of her popular blog, Velvet & Linen. Of course, when guests come I always want the house to be clean. Washing sheets and re-making beds and the like are part of it, but I also like to make sure my floors are absolutely clean. We have many friends (and some family members) who are allergic to dogs, so I like to make sure that my floors are clean and fur free. So today I thought I’d share some holiday cleaning tips for getting your floors as clean as possible!
The Best Way to Clean Your Hardwood Floors
As I’m sure some of you remember, we installed the hardwood floors in our living and dining rooms only about a year and a half ago. We had wall to wall carpet (ugh!) until then, and I’d been dying to change them. And I have to say, it’s one of my favorite things I’ve ever done! You can see the full reveal of them here.
