One of my favorite rooms to decorate for in any season is the kitchen! This simple fall kitchen decor in warm autumn colors brings fall into the home in a soft and subtle way.
Now that I’m finally getting into my fall decorating, I’m excited to share my fall kitchen decor with you! And just as I did with the living room, I’m keeping my fall kitchen decor simple, with autumn colors that are soft and subdued. 😉
I love to decorate the kitchen for the seasons. In fact, it’s often one of the first rooms I decorate!
And why not? I spend an awful lot of time in this space! It’s fun to bring in some seasonal decor, especially in the fall when so much of my decor is vegetables, fruits and things from nature. It seems a natural place to start!
If you’ve been a subscriber for awhile, then you know that I love to add some fruits and vegetables of the season as decor. We have an apple tree in the backyard and I frequently use them to highlight the bounty of the season. And the bonus is we get to eat them!
Copper is another favorite of mine, especially in the fall. I always bring out a few pieces this time of year. I love the warmth it brings to a space, and of course, the vintage vibe is a plus, too. 😉
And you know I always love to use seasonal flowers!
Dahlias are a particular favorite! And since they are a fall flower, I try to get them whenever I can. I mixed them with some green/turning hydrangeas from our garden and eucalyptus, as well as a few seasonal berries and grasses.
I’ve talked before about my love for art, and art in the kitchen is a particular favorite!
And how cute is this vintage oil painting featuring pretty autumn colors? It’s something I usually have in the built ins but I brought it into this room and I think it’s the perfect fall kitchen decor on the mantel over the range. 😉
I hope this simple fall kitchen decor has shown you how easy it is to decorate for the season. With just a few natural elements, a pumpkin or two, and some seasonal flowers you can create a warm and inviting space that will last until the holidays!

Sheila,
your kitchen is elegant in a warm welcoming way! The landscape and bread/cutting board really pair together wonderfully… I’m going to copy your idea; I always have a platter of different colors and styles per season. But after seeing your hood arrangement, I think it needs a buddy of some kind.
Sheila says
Aww thank you Susan!! I’m so glad you found inspiration and that you love the bread boards!
Happy fall to you!
