Simple Fall Kitchen Decorating Ideas
These simple fall kitchen decorating ideas center around nature and warm autumn colors to bring fall into your home in a soft and subtle way.
Every season has it’s own special feel, but fall is definitely a favorite of mine. There’s just something about the coziness of the season that really speaks to my homebody nature. Give me some yummy soup and a cozy throw and I’m as happy as can be!
And though I may not be making soup yet (it’s still warm here, after all!), I am starting to add some warmth in terms of decor, and I’m starting with the kitchen.
The kitchen is actually one of the first places I start when it comes to seasonal decorating. Because well, first of all, it’s easy! And it’s also the space I spend the most time in, so why not bring in the beauty of the season?
This year’s fall kitchen decorating ideas are subtle and simple and easily implemented. Touches of nature, wood elements, and some warm autumn colors bring a subtle nod to the season that’s just right for this time of year.
And of course, seasonal flowers are always something I add. An arrangement on the table or the counter really adds a seasonal pop!
This year I combined white and vintage hydrangeas along with some grasses and eucalyptus for an easy and long lasting display. And of course, I had to add some little Casper white pumpkins!
Copper is another element I love to add when fall rolls around. There’s just nothing like it for adding warmth to a space. And to me, it just screams fall!
Apples from our tree along with some baby boo white pumpkins live on a wood cake stand. I always have some wood in this space, but fall is a time to add a little bit more for that added texture and warmth.
Baby boos on a wood board. It doesn’t get much simpler than this, but it definitely brings in a sense of the season!
The little faded orange pumpkin is a mini Fairytale pumpkin! Have you ever seen one before? I never have, and when I saw them at my local Trader Joe’s this week I couldn’t pluck them up fast enough! 😉
Elements from nature, copper and wood elements, and pumpkins and flowers make for a simple yet warm take on the season. And I’ve only just begun!
Next week I’ll be sharing my fall mantel and then the porch – I can’t wait to start really dressing up the house for fall!
