French Country Fridays – Summer Tables & Outdoor Entertaining Ideas
Welcome to another week of French Country Fridays! Today I’m sharing a favorite table of mine ~ a romantic summer table filled with pink peonies and roses.
Since many states are opening up and I know lots of us are starting to at least think about get togethers with friends and families, it seemed like the perfect time to talk about some table settings and outdoor entertaining ideas! I know, I for one, cannot wait to have friends over and spend some time outside!
And now, let’s see what inspiration my friends are sharing this week, too…

Oh I was so happy to see this post today as I’ve only been reading your blog for about a year now and never saw this one! Just beautiful! So excited to have people over soon! And I have everything already to recreate except the chargers and the peonies! I didn’t see a date on the post though. When are the peonies in stock usually? Sometime in June? I really miss your seasonal posts. I hope you share some summer decorating soon! Those are my very favorite ones! We just bought some iceberg roses today!!! I got them from your recommendation. I have a black thumb as well so hoping they will be fine. Creeping fig though apparently won’t work for zone 5 so hoping to find something similar.
Hi Gina! Thank you so much for your sweet comment! 🙂
Here in CA peonies come out right now – I got my first at Trader Joe’s last week! So hopefully you should find them right now, or soon, depending on where you are. And don’t worry, I’m sharing some summer decorating over the next few weeks. We delayed some of it because of the virus (no one was really going out and I couldn’t even get flowers!) but they’ll be coming soon. Thank you!!
