French Country Fridays – Mirrors, Summer Decorating, and the Color Blue!
Welcome to our weekly series, French Country Fridays! It’s been another busy week over here~ I’ve been traveling (last minute college tours) and we’re heading into the end of the school year which is always a little crazy! And next week my son graduates and we have family coming. Why is it that it takes a party for me to finally get projects completed and all the to-do’s done?!
I’ll be doing a reveal of the pool and yard remodel very soon so keep an eye out for that! And if you missed it, last week I completed our master bedroom makeover! This week is all about getting the yard and house in shape before everyone arrives, and I’ve been sprinkling a little bit of summer decor around as well!
In the meantime, let’s see what my friends are sharing this week…

I’m not a crazy over blue person but, must say some of the prettiest decor I’ve seen have been blue. A blue accent wall, table ware, drapes and upholstered pieces to die for beautiful! Your home is absolutely charming I love everything.
What a lovely compliment – thank you so much!!

I love your use of blue. In my next house I plan to use blue throughout the entire house. It has been my favorite color since childhood. May I ask where you got the chandilier? I have been looking for one that I can afford. Love yours!
Hi Nedra, and thanks so much! I feel the same – blue is really speaking to me these days and I simply can’t get enough!
As for the chandelier, if you click on the link to the full post (https://maisondecinq.com/simple-summer-decorating/), I’ve sourced it at the bottom where it says “Shop the Post.” I believe you can also find it by clicking the “Shop my Home” tab on the blog and then “shop my Kitchen.” Hope that helps!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
