Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration
Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!

We had a wonderful Easter in SF, with the most incredible weather! We had some great food, a lovely Easter brunch, and saw a few sites that I’d never seen before. Now I’m back in So. Cal. and it’s raining and cold – go figure!
But as I said a few weeks ago, I’m going with spring on the inside – and in my closet, haha!
I’m excited to share lots of fun spring finds with you today! And if you don’t mind, I’m going a little random this week. Sometimes there’s a theme, but this week, I’m sharing lots of different things with no rhyme or reason – kind of how I shop in real life. 😉

THINGS I LOVE IN DESIGN/DECOR

Love the cabinet color in this pretty bathroom. More of this home here.
Scalloped baskets can be pretty expensive, but this set gives the same look for much less (plus, they’re on sale!)
A friend of mine just shared this basket planter on Instagram, and it’s so good! It’s way prettier than it looks on the website, plus it’s lined and it’s under $20!
I saw this gorgeous bowl in store at PB and fell in love! It’s ceramic but looks like the vintage paper-mache bowls so it has lots of texture.
Another great decor find is this stunning vase – 5* ratings and under $40!
Did you know Serena & Lily is having 30% off and free shipping on all things outdoor? I always love their outdoor pillows, but I also just found these adorable seagrass glasses and they’re an amazing price! You can check out more of the sale here.
Have you seen these brass switch plate covers??? Be still my heart!! They are so beautiful – what a great way to make a small change that will make a big difference! (they come in lots of sizes/arrangements)
This glass honey jar with bee is so darling – love!! (and would make a great gift for Mom)
I’m a huge fan of the designer Jeremiah Brent and he’s just written his first book. Can’t wait to get it!
Last week’s best sellers: these pretty botanical prints and this gorgeous white-washed French desk.
THINGS I’M WEARING/WANTING

To me, nothing is chicer in spring and summer than black and white!
I love the ease of this breezy gauze top, this smocked button-up is adorable (and half off in black or white!), and I love the look of this bib style top, it’s so unique and 20% off right now.
You know those adorable sailor jeans I ordered a few weeks back? They now have a similar style jean in white!
This black cotton dress is adorable – love the contrast-stitching detail.
If you’re looking for a great linen blazer, this one is under $100 and gets great reviews.
LOVE this long pearl necklace – and it’s almost half off!
And these cute cropped pants (in above photo, top right) are one of my favorites (they’re super flattering – I have the black but they come in white, too) and are now 30% off!
Last week’s best sellers: this classic linen shirt (still on sale) and this perfect spring handbag.
THINGS I’M WATCHING/READING

lf you’ve read the book We were the Lucky Ones (I highly recommend it) then you are probably well aware of the new limited series that just came out. I loved the book so I’m excited to watch it – and I’ve heard good things so I’m crossing my fingers!
I did try the new Kristin Wiig show earlier this week called Palm Royale but I have to say, I didn’t really like it and I stopped after two episodes. I adore her so that was disappointing! Have you watched it?
THINGS I’M EATING/DRINKING

Have you ever made a savory quick bread? They are made much like a banana bread, except they are savory, not sweet. In France they’re commonly served alongside cocktails or wine before dinner, and are referred to as ‘savory cake.’ They also seem perfect for serving with a soup or salad. They’re as easy as a sweet quick bread but you rarely hear of them here!
I’ve been wanting to make one forever and decided today I’m going to do it! I’m having a friend over for a glass of wine tonight and I thought it would be perfect for that. This Savory Gruyère Bread (above) looks really yummy, as does this Bacon, Gruyère & Carmelized Onion version that first got me hooked on the idea. Or maybe I do this Pull-Apart Cheesy Onion Bread? Decisions, decisions!

Wow! So much cuteness in one post! I love the scalloped basket, classic linen shirt in amazing colors too, those seagrass glasses, and that gorgeous PB bowl! Thanks Sheila for doing so much research of these great finds! Also, love the vanity color and now considering that as an option in our spa bathroom project! Happy spring weekend!
That’s so sweet – thanks JC! I’m so glad you found so many things you love!:)
