Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration

Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!

Spring is finally here! Or, at least it was for a few days. It was sunny and mid-70s and I was deliriously happy! But now we’re due for more rain starting tomorrow. I guess the good news is that should be good for my garden, right? 😉

Even though it didn’t last, it’s really gotten me in the mood for warm weather, wearing sandals, eating outdoors – all my favorite things!

And today I’m sharing some of those favorite things so let’s get on with Friday Favorites!

This home has the most amazing gardens!

Are you as obsessed over your outdoor space as I am? I can’t wait to start using it again and it needs some definite freshening up, not to mention major planting and cleaning! My first order of business after the cleaning is to replace the planters on both the front porch and the back patio.

I love the look of this classic grey planter, but not sure it’s big enough for where I need it (a great look and price though!) I’ve been eyeing these gorgeous concrete fluted planters for some time and now they’re on sale, and this planter is stunning and quite a good price for the European look and size!

TJ Maxx has had such good finds lately. I’m seriously crushing on this adorable McGee-style throw pillow, and this travertine vase is so great (plus it’s half off now!)

Speaking of vases, this pretty floral vase is one of my faves, and makes a beautiful gift for a wedding shower, graduation host, birthday, or Mother’s Day. I’ve given it several times and never gotten anything but raves!

This floral jute rug might be the find of the century! It looks exactly like the much more expensive versions and gets rave reviews! (I’m ordering the smallest for my kitchen).

And I’ve had a few of you ask for more Amazon gadgets and helpful finds, so I’m going to share a couple of my favorites each week. I just got these magnetic brass measuring spoons, and not only are they pretty, but they’re practical, too. Love them! And this amazing fluted marble bowl comes in several sizes and is much less than the designer versions (would make a great gift, too).

If you’re looking for more Amazon finds, be sure to check out my Amazon storefront (you can follow me there, too!) 🙂

Last week’s best sellers: these beautiful scalloped brass switchplates and these faux boxwood topiaries (now on sale!)

I love when jeans have something special, like interesting pockets, or cute buttons or the like. Totally crushing on these adorable jeans (above), I mean, do they get any cuter?! And this white cargo pair is so great, too (and perfect for summer). Soft colored jeans are also a spring favorite, like this adorable blush pair!

I’m loving the idea of a raffia or wicker bag for spring evenings or events, but something slightly dressier than your typical market bag. I’m totally crushing on this adorable one, this one is also cute, and I love the pearl strap of this one

More cute raffia finds: this belt is so adorable!! Love it for summer (and it’s 30% off right now!) Or this cute headband (they’re back!) would be perfect with summery outfits and dresses (50% off).

If you’re going to any events this spring, I have the perfect pump for you! This kitten heel pump is on-trend, reasonably priced, and sooo comfortable! I bought the black before Christmas and have worn them so much already, I’m thinking of getting a neutral pair for summer. They’re a great way to update your jeans look and they look great with dresses, too. A definite find, and they come in 15 colors!

And you know I love a good dupe! This drapey twist blouse is almost exactly like this designer favorite, and it’s under $40! The style is so flattering, and very versatile, too.

Last week’s best sellers: this adorable midi dress and my fave wide-leg cropped pants.

Ooh I haven’t found a new home show in so long! Have you seen Diary of an Old Home? A friend just turned me onto it and I’m loving it. It’s from Chip and Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia network and has been on for 3 seasons! How did I not know this?!

We’re wanting some new recipes to try, especially now that the weather isn’t quite so wintery. This Creamy Garlic Baked Salmon (above) looks amazing and so easy! And this Maple Glazed Salmon looks like another perfect week night dinner.

Love this amazing newly remodeled scullery! (also decided I need one of these!)

Diptyque’s newest candles will transport you to a Parisian café! Nordstrom is now carrying them here!
