Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration

Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!

Our weather has turned to spring practically overnight and I’m not mad about it! Though sadly, I can’t sit outside and enjoy the weather or eat dinner alfresco because our outside is soo dirty!

Between the rain and some pieces remaining uncovered all winter (very bad!), everything is a mess. I was hoping to get it cleaned up last weekend so we could actually start planting this weekend, but then we had pouring rain, so that didn’t pan out. Fingers crossed this will be the weekend where it gets done!

In the meantime, let’s talk decor (including lots of outdoor finds!), fashion crushes, a beautiful garden tour and more….

This outdoor space has long been one of my favorites – so much to savor!

It’s time to spruce up the outside!

I love this cute pom pom pillow!

This wicker scalloped coffee table is so unique and it’s on sale now! (comes in a side table, too)

More scallops! This time it’s these charming brass lanterns (on sale).

I fell hard for this adorable rattan utensil caddy, until I saw the price! But… Target has a near identical version for only $20 – love it!

I’m a complete convert when it comes to outdoor rugs. I love how they make it feel a bit cleaner, and help to designate different areas. This pretty one I saw and loved last summer is now on sale (comes in 2 colors), and if you like more pattern, this one is also pretty and marked down as well.

I’m completely smitten with this adorable birdhouse. So charming (and not your typical birdhouse!) It sold out once before but is back and now on clearance. I’ve ordered it! 🙂

These pale blue vases are stunning and would look great inside or out (and so well-priced!), and I love this fluted marble box (it’s under $20 and the exact same as the West Elm version for half the price – makes a good Mom’s Day gift too).

This week’s Amazon finds: just ordered this handy cheese slicer and we love it! (reminds me of one I grew up with). And we’re still loving our stone dish-drying mat.

Last week’s best sellers: this cute faux boxwood topiary (still on sale) and this pretty floral terracotta vase.

A shirtdress is such a great staple for spring and summer, and even into fall. This cotton version is classic and has great reviews (comes in several colors), this one is so pretty in black, or for an inexpensive, more casual version, this gauzy one in white.

I fell hard for this chiffon version (above) which already sold out once and is now back. It’s truly stunning!

Another summer staple is a sweater knit tank. I love how a black one looks with white jeans or pants!

This pretty ruffled linen blouse is currently on sale (love all the colors but especially that pretty blue!)

You know how much I love any sandal or shoe in raffia, and this week I found some good ones! First off I love this ankle-strap heel. So versatile and so cute!

Another good option is this buckle-detail heel (can you believe this is Target??!) Also loving this original flat version.

Oh and I can’t forget to mention I bought the Beach perfume I featured in the Mom’s Day gift guide and it’s literally vacation in a bottle!!

Last week’s best sellers: this drapey twist top and this well-priced trench coat.

We stumbled on a new show last week and fell in love! Have you heard of Colin from Accounts? This is a seriously binge-worthy, sweet, funny, and life-affirming sitcom. And it’s Australian! Which of course I love because the humor is similar to the dry British humor I love so much.

It’s only streaming on Paramount+ which we didn’t have, but do what I did and sign up for the free week, then cancel, haha! Each show is only a half hour and there’s only one season (a second is coming!) so you can easily stream it over a week. I miss it already!

A friend recommended this easy but delicious Sheet Pan Chicken with Potatoes, Arugula, & Yogurt (NYT Gift article) so we decided to try it earlier this week. It was really good and seriously, sooo easy! Definitely worth adding to the rotation!

Scott Shrader is an amazing landscape designer, always incorporating vintage and European elements into his projects. His book is a must-have! It’s gorgeous and inspiring – and looks great on the coffee table! You can also follow his Instagram here.
