Happy May! And you know what that means – it’s peony season! I haven’t seen them at my local Trader Joe’s yet but it’s usually the first week so I’m keeping an eye out. They’re my favorite flower and last year I think I only bought them once (not very good ‘romanticizing my life’ on my part, right?) So this year, I’m aiming to enjoy them more often. 🙂

THINGS I’M LOVING IN DESIGN/DECOR
A designer’s historic farmhouse channels Nancy Meyers’ style – love how charming this whole home is!
I absolutely adore vintage baskets and own several, but they are rather delicate and have a tendency to fall apart over time. As such, I’ve been on the hunt for something to replace them. These charming storage baskets look high quality and give that vintage look! Love!
You guys I’m dying over this mirror! Gives the Anthro look for much less and could work almost anywhere.
While looking through a registry for a wedding we’re going to this summer, I happened upon this adorable wicker wine carrier (almost half off!) Such a cute gift for a spring shower, birthday, or Mother’s Day! I’m also loving this one which is larger and carries two bottles. Perfect for picnics and is a good price point, too. (hint, hint to anyone in my family reading this!)

I haven’t shared a vase of any kind in so long and it’s probably my favorite decor item. These ribbed vases are priced well and come in 2 sizes, and I’m in love with this rustic vintage-looking vase (it gets stellar reviews!)

THINGS I’M WEARING/WANTING
Eek! I’m madly in love with this pretty sweater that is so perfect for summer, under $50 and looks so much more expensive than it is! And this woven short sleeve sweater is also wonderful (30% off now).
Have you guys been seeing the woven and mesh shoe trend? They are literally everywhere, at every price point. They are perfect for spring and summer (built-in A/C!) and selling out like crazy. I prefer the woven look (either leather or raffia) to the mesh as it seems more classic and less trendy.
The woven Mary Jane is hot and this pair is still available, also love this lighter pair (on sale, too – black version here). If you love the woven look but prefer a flat, this is a great option (I just ordered).
This chic raffia belt is the perfect accessory to elevate any summer outfit (on sale!) Love!
A white linen blazer (above) that’s under $100? Yes, please. And this similar one is also under $100 and comes in lots of color options!
This straw handbag is more than stylish than a tote and is the perfect summer bag (sure to sell out!)
I know I rarely talk beauty on here, but this is a must-have! I recently started using this wonderful eye cream and I combine it with this ice roller in the morning and I’m really seeing a difference!
THINGS I’M WATCHING/READING
Have you heard of the new show Étoile? I was excited when I first heard that there would be a new show all about ballet by the creator of Gilmore Girls and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. I haven’t had a chance to start it yet, which I will, but I’m hearing mixed things from friends. Have you seen it? Thoughts?
I’m thinking there is dancing, there is Paris, and it stars real ballet dancers so as Ina Garten would say, “How bad could that be?” 😉
THINGS I’M EATING/DRINKING
If you’re looking for some brunch ideas for Mother’s Day, this Challah French Toast recipe is delicious and feels special (and it’s even better if you swap out the challah for croissants!) And these Lemon Ricotta Pancakes also look amazing.
