Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration

Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, movies, podcasts, fashion finds and more! And though it won’t all be French, some of it definitely will!

Hello friends! Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We ate way too much, laughed, drank, watched some football, played games, and just enjoyed the time together. And did a lot of dishes, haha! But my kids are finally old enough that not only do they help, they offer to help! So that part was great, and certainly eased the burden.

And now the holiday season is officially here, right?! I’ve been sharing my Christmas tours over the last two weeks, with my living room first and then my kitchen and family room. And this week I shared my porch all decked out for the season! I hope you’ve enjoyed the inspiration, and if you missed any of the tours you can see them all here.

And now, let’s talk Friday Favorites! This is where I share everything from a great decor find, to a favorite movie, recipe, or podcast, to a wonderful thing to wear – anything that strikes me as interesting or fun or that you might love, too! 😉

This week I’d thought I’d share a Christmas home tour with you all. After all, if I can’t do it this month, when can I?! This country Christmas tour is so classic and cozy, you’ll want to move right in!

You guys have been loving so many of my recent shares – I love that! Bells have been one of your favorites for the last few weeks; this string of jingle bells, this set of four medium sizes ones (I just bought two and love them!), and these little ones (these are great massed in bowls or for place settings on a holiday table).

Also have you seen these cute lit birch trees? I love them and used them last year (and forgot to link them last week!)

You also went crazy for this log holder (it arrived the other day and I love it- great price for the quality), this sweet little Noel pillow, my Noel doormat (I’m sensing a theme here!), my favorite mercury glass ornaments (on sale now), these glass tree cloches, and these Juniper trees, this cozy throw (it’s back in stock!) and this faux Eucalyptus garland continue to be best sellers!

That garland is worth every penny – I’ve used mine for years and it looks great and oh-so-real!

This week I put a few things on my own Christmas list! 😉 I just ordered this sweater because I love the idea of wearing it all month and can’t wait (so cute for parties!), love this one (on sale!), and this one is so cute and could be worn dressy or casual, and this one is perfect for any casual event this month! I also LOVE this hoodie sweater – perfect for cozy at home wear and it’s 40% off. And this favorite coat is at an amazing price now!

You guys, I got such a great response from the holiday attire I shared last week! You (and me!) loved these sparkly shoes, this velvet skirt (it just arrived yesterday and it’s perfect! Comfy and can easily be dressed up or down), this classic black blazer, and these velvet jeans (40% right now!).

And you guys are as big of fans of denim as me! You went crazy for jeans; this darker pair, this super reasonable pair, and this pair (which is on sale now!)

Have you ever seen Lauren Leiss’ home design show, Best House on the Block? I discovered it last year and immediately watched every episode! I love her style and her cute personality.

Sadly, there is only one season but it’s well worth seeking out. And she just released her third book, Feels Like Home, and I have to say, I’m finding it so inspiring. I have her two others, Habitat and Down to Earth, and they’re all good!

I’ve been looking for some new recipes lately (feeling the need to mix things up!) These Sweet Potato Tacos look amazing!

And this Slow Cooker Chicken and Orzo looks delicious and easy!

I’m in love with this divine room spray! Smells so good, lasts a long time, and looks stylish sitting in the bathroom. I’m using the Cypress & Pine right now, but the Zest scent is heavenly too and great for all year.

This is an amazing little gadget – I’ve bought it for everyone this year. Seriously the perfect stocking stuffer!

Happy Friday!

  1. Stephanie says:

You mentioned a log holder, but I don’t see a link?

  2. Could you tell me where you found Best House on the Block? We have Discovery+ but when we go to HGTV streaming, it’s not there. Nothing came up when we did a search from Discovery+ or the HGTV home pages. Thanks!

    1. Hi Kelly~ sorry about that! Yes, when I watched it a few months ago it was still on Discovery but not any longer. Now it seems to only be streaming on Spectrum. I would do a ‘free’ subscription and then just cancel once you’re done with it, haha!

      Hope that helps!
