I was back in Southern California this past week to visit my mom, see a few friends, have my hair colored, etc. It was a little weird to be back! But seeing some sweet friends was good for my soul for sure. 🙂

Are you all ready for the long weekend? Since we are still renting and in a new town, no big plans for us! We will probably do some wine tasting and might even take a drive to the coast. Excited to start exploring our new area!

THINGS I’M LOVING IN DESIGN/DECOR

Love the details in this remodeled 1930s home!

McGee & Co. is a favorite store and since they only have about three sales a year, I like to take advantage! I’ve been eyeing these adorable glasses for months and had been waiting for a sale!, these baskets are stunning (2 sizes), this versatile bowl is a classic style that could work anywhere, I love these napkins for Thanksgiving, and I don’t own a nice glass pitcher (why!?) so I ordered this pretty fluted one!

Some Magnolia favorites on sale are this unique little trinket tray and I’m so smitten with this lovely ruffled crock/canister!! Thinking it would be good in the new kitchen!

Wayfair has lots on sale including this stunning dining table that’s a steal for the size, and my favorite side table that’s sold at McGee as well, however, it’s now the same price as McGee’s sale price plus it also has free shipping! 

August Best Sellers! This beautiful English country chair was the number one seller, next were my favorite sheets, these gorgeous scalloped planters (on sale), my living room coffee table (now on sale!), and this stunning French-inspired bench.

 

THINGS I’M WEARING/WANTING

Loft has some cute things in their new fall line and they’re all 40% off! This corduroy jacket (above) is adorable, love this chic color-block sweater, and how great is this plaid barn jacket?!

Anthropologie has 25% off premium denim this weekend – these Mother straight legs are a favorite, and I’m crushing on these olive green jeans with cute pockets.

I love olive green for fall, and this feminine cardigan is soo pretty! (it’s 20% off too!) Another pretty cardigan is this scalloped trim option (love the black).

Madewell has lots of new fall pieces at 30% off now including this oh-so-chic cropped suede jacket! Gorgeous!

Loving this plaid blazer (30% off) for fall! It would be the perfect transition piece with jeans and a tee.

These joggers/sweat pants came highly recommended and I’ve become a fan. They’re the best! On sale for 30% off now too!

I’m sure most of you have heard about Mel Robbins’ latest book, The Let Them Theory, but I am only now reading it! It’s simple but also, so powerful. And I feel like it’s something we all need to hear (or at least I did). I found it both inspiring and helpful.

If you don’t listen to her podcast, it’s also very good.
