Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration
Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!

Can you believe it’s almost Halloween? With so many boxes still unpacked and my house a wreck, I have to say, I’m feeling particularly behind!
But next week the kitchen will be finished, hallelujah!! Then I just need to order the rest of the lighting, get the fireplace finished, and decide what we’re doing with our family room furniture and decor-wise. Phew!
And now, let’s talk Friday Favorites!

THINGS I’M LOVING IN DESIGN/DECOR

Love this kitchen! See the rest of this beautiful Santa Barbara home here.
When it comes to Christmas decor there are a couple things I always do early and one of them is order this gorgeous velvet ribbon! It’s absolutely stunning and worth every penny. (And yes, I do also re-use a lot of it, just ordering a bit more each year!)
I’ve been eyeing this set of nesting tables for awhile now. They are stunning and the price is amazing (I’ve seen them at a friend’s house and they are even better in person).
How cute is this framed holiday print from Hearth & Hand?!
Love this adorable brass countdown to Christmas calendar!
These scalloped baskets at Pottery Barn could be used in so many ways! Come in 5 sizes.
I’ve never seen a prettier log holder in my life! So good.
I saw someone share this book embossing stamp on Instagram and I can’t stop thinking about it! I think it is such a lovely idea as a gift for someone – thinking of giving it to several people for Christmas. I love the old-fashioned charm of it!
This gorgeous faux wreath sold out last year but it’s back! It’s an affordable dupe of the McGee version that’s over $200!
Last week’s best sellers: this set of 4 mini wreaths (great price!) and this gorgeous flush mount light.
THINGS I’M WEARING/WANTING

It’s coat season! Even though I live in California, I am such a coat person! Not only are they practical, but they can make even the simplest outfit look chic. And now that I’m in Northern Cal, I can actually wear them! 😉
This wool coat (30% off) is a little more casual than some which I love (the moss green is especially pretty!) and they do a longer version here (also 30% off), this long coat is lovely. I always love a fun pop of color or pattern in a coat like this adorable plaid version (above) (plus, it’s 30% off).
Burgundy is still hot and I’m here for it! I love how rich elegant it looks with everything, plus it’s great with jeans. This cardigan (30% off) is gorgeous, this stunning silk blouse is a steal!, and I’m totally crushing on this faux leather skirt – love!
These slim straight jeans look chic and so flattering (and they’re under $50!)
Such a great bag – love the size and the chain! And it’s 25% off now!
Have you guys heard of Rothy’s? They are a sustainable company that uses plastic water bottles to make all kinds of comfortable shoes (that are also machine washable!), but it’s their clogs that have gone viral. I literally saw or heard of them four times in one week! I’ve ordered a pair of their popular casual clogs to try!
Last week’s best sellers: this gorgeous Fair Isle cardigan and my favorite bootie (2nd week in a row!)
THINGS I’M WATCHING/READING

Wow! I liked The Diplomat in its first two seasons, but this third season is soo good – they’ve really knocked it out of the park!
Also, Ina Garten’s show Be My Guest is back, and the first guest is Tina Fey – so excited!
THINGS I’M EATING/DRINKING

I’m admittedly a fan of anything pumpkin, and the minute it’s the slightest bit cool, I’m in the kitchen baking pumpkin bread. (Of course this is during the years when I have a kitchen, haha!)
This blogger tried several of the most popular pumpkin bread recipes on the Internet and came out with a winner. I’ve always wanted to see if I really love mine the best, so I’m kinda dying to try this!
In the meantime, if you want to try the one I currently make and that my family loves, it’s this Pumpkin Walnut Bread.
