Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration

Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!

Hope you all had a wonderful New Year’s! Ours ended up being low-key, but nice. We cooked a delicious dinner, opened a nice bottle of wine, and cozied up and watched When Harry Met Sally (which I’ve decided is the best NYE movie ever!)

I’ve missed being here and I’m excited to be back and sharing with you! I’ve got lots of fun finds for you today, and lots of new content planned for the month ahead.

One of my goals for 2026 is to share even more content with you! So look forward to more design basics posts, a few in-depth fashion posts, more cleaning and organizing, and of course, a full reveal of the new house! And, we’ll also continue Friday Favorites of course!

On a personal note, I’ve also set a few goals and intentions for the coming year. A few things on my list – journaling everyday, finding and joining a gym, traveling more, rediscovering my love of cooking, and trying meditation (something I’ve always wanted to do).

THINGS I’M LOVING IN DESIGN/DECOR

I love this kitchen remodel – that island!!

Yesterday I started taking all the Christmas decor down, and that always makes the house feel a cold and bare (especially as we haven’t finished decorating yet!) As a result, I’ve been busy trying to warm up the house by adding lots of texture to up the cozy factor.

I love a good nubby throw like this one (on sale) and I’m crushing on this 100% cotton cable knit throw that’s now 30% off!

I’m also thinking of adding a few cozy and/or winter-toned pillows and using either grays or greens feels fresh without feeling too springy. I love this unique pattern, this pretty floral, and this one is a steal at that price!

This pretty fireplace log holder (25% off) would add instant charm to your hearth!

The new Studio McGee x Target collection dropped last week and there are some really cute finds!  

This scalloped basket and basket tray are perfection! 

Shea McGee does great bowls and this woven ceramic one is no exception. Matching vase here. 

Love this pretty woven box that looks way more expensive than it is! Perfect for storing remotes in the living room or wipes in the bathroom.

I’ll be doing a few organizing posts in the coming weeks, but if you’re putting away holiday decor like I am these are some of my favorites! 

I love these wreath bags for keeping them safe and dust-free, this wrapping paper organizer is super helpful, and this ornament storage box is a game-changer!

 

Last month’s best sellers: this lovely cotton throw, these gorgeous glass hurricanes, this beautiful brass bowl, and these pretty etched snowflake glasses.

 

THINGS I’M WEARING/WANTING

Since it’s been so cold I’ve kind of been living in my ‘casual winter uniform’. Usually jeans, cozy sweaters, and booties. And with winter sales on, I’m trying to stock up!

Alex Mill makes gorgeous sweaters and is having a huge sale. I just ordered this perfectly oversized wool turtleneck, or if you prefer cotton this chic cardigan is 60% off! Love.

Cole Haan is another store doing major markdowns. This waterproof Chelsea boot (35% off) is the epitome of versatile. Also love this cozy waterproof hiking boot that is 70% off!

FRAME makes some of my favorite jeans so when they do a sale, I jump on it. This flattering wide leg is currently 60% off!

I’ve always liked Mango’s jeans and recently found this wide-leg pair (above). They aren’t on sale, but the price is so reasonable I decided to give them a try. Can’t wait to try them! (And can we talk about that whole outfit??!)

A couple of new-to-me cashmere sweaters from Quince that I got for Christmas and really like. This crewneck fisherman sweater and this oversized cardigan sweater (so perfect for cozy winter days at home) – both of these are perfect dupes for the viral Jenny Kayne versions!

 

Last month’s best sellers: this pretty paperclip necklace, these gold hoop earrings, this cozy lounge set, and this pearl necklace, and this amazing jewelry cleaner.

 

 THINGS I’M WATCHING/READING

Slow Horses has been one of my favorite shows over the last few years, and luckily for me, season 5 is here! (Actually it was here in the fall but we didn’t get to it until now!)

A few other thriller shows that I’ve been hearing about and we’re dying to dive into! Black Doves starring Keira Knightley, Mr. & Mrs. Smith (I’ve been hearing about this one since last year), and The Night Manager (above) finally has a second season – a decade later! 

 

THINGS I’M EATING/DRINKING

Ohhh it’s cold here – yes, even for California! It’s been in the low 30s at night and the days are mid-40s, plus we’ve had a ton of rain, so I’m all about those cozy meals!

Last night we made our favorite Pasta e Fagioli soup which is soo good. This weekend I’m going to try either this Skillet Pesto Chicken & Orzo or this Skillet Creamy Chicken & Gnocchi (above). Then I’ll curl up with a good book in front of the fire! 🙂
