Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration

Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!

It’s the beginning of a three day weekend – is there anything better?!  We don’t have big plans but we are going to a special Valentine’s wine tasting and a ‘date day lunch’ tomorrow. We’ll be skipping going out to dinner and making a nice dinner at home, most likely followed by a movie which for me is perfect!

And of course, there are those President’s Day sales so I’m sure I’ll be doing some shopping, too! I’m still on the hunt for things for the house, and I’ve found lots of deals and cute finds to share with you today!

THINGS I’M LOVING IN DESIGN/DECOR

Love this house full of southern charm!

 

Today I’m sharing lots of sale finds, many that I own or have always loved! 

McGee & Co. is one of my favorite stores – they are great at making simple things feel special and elevated – and right now they have 25% off everything, which they only do a couple of times a year!

I just ordered this wood pedestal to corral things by the stove, this blue and white floral bowl is gorgeous and looks way more expensive than it is, I love this scalloped wicker trash can I use in the primary bath (if a trash can be elevated, this is), this little olive jar is so perfect for charcuterie platters!, and if you celebrate Easter it doesn’t get any cuter than these hand-painted eggs! 

Magnolia is another favorite as they carry things no one else has and their whole site is up to 50% off! This wicker pitcher is seriously soo cute! I bought the vase version that I shared last month and it’s stunning, I think this French white butter dish is so unique, and this bar cart is gorgeous!

THINGS I’M WEARING/WANTING

I looove a spring blazer and this gorgeous blue blazer (above) is perfection! (comes in other colors, too)

Spring jackets I’m loving: This raw hem jacket is a great spring find (super versatile, too) and this pale sage faux leather jacket (20% off) is another unique option for spring!

An adorable gingham rain jacket, that’s also on sale? Yes, please!

These trouser jeans are super flattering and under $80 right now!

I’ve been eyeing this cable-knit sweater for a few weeks and it’s now 30% off the sale price! Love that it’s all cotton!

They aren’t on sale but I had to share these gorgeous earrings as they’re all I’ve heard of for weeks now! After hearing Shea McGee (and then a dozen other fashion bloggers) talk about them, I finally ordered them. Excited to get them as I think they’ll make a great basic without the ‘real diamond’ price, haha!

I’ve been on the hunt for a ivory/pale beige loafer for spring. Love these classic loafers on sale at Tory Burch (30% off)! I have these in black and they are super comfortable out of the gate! This one is also a great option for a little less!

THINGS I’M WATCHING/READING

I’ve been on the hunt for new podcasts for quite awhile now – it felt like I had heard all the good ones. Fortunately, that wasn’t true!

Here are a few true crime podcasts I’ve loved recently: Dead Certain (tense and keeps you guessing), Blood Relatives (gripping story of a murder in England), and Sea of Lies which I haven’t finished yet is one of those podcasts you cannot stop listening to! Jaw dropping stuff.

 

THINGS I’M EATING/DRINKING

Since it’s still not spring weather here, I’m dying to try some new cozy recipes. These Quick Chicken Pot Pies look easy and so good!

And ever since I tried the lasagne soup at Trader Joe’s (not amazing but definitely an intriguing idea!) I’ve wanted to try making it. Recently found this Spicy Lasagna Soup that looks delicious and gets great ratings!
