Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration
Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!

As I write this we’re down in So Cal again visiting my mom, having a root canal (ugh!), meeting our tax guy (double ugh!), and squeezing in a couple dinners with friends. We’ll be back tonight though, and I’m looking forward to a relaxing weekend with lovely weather! 🙂
Hope you’re all enjoying some spring weather wherever you are, and happy Easter weekend to those who celebrate!
And now let’s talk Friday Favorites – this week is good!

THINGS I’M LOVING IN DESIGN/DECOR

The use of marble in this house is out of this world! See the whole tour here.
It’s that time of year when I start thinking about the outside of my home – and this year even more so as we have a whole yard to get started on.
But beyond that, I love dusting off the porch and patio, cleaning the furniture, and planting fresh flowers in the pots, don’t you? There’s nothing like a spring refresh! This week I shared a post all about getting a European look in your outdoor spaces and it’s one of the most popular posts I’ve written in awhile! On that note, I’m going to share a few things that caught my eye…
This is a lovely 5-piece wicker outdoor furniture set looks way more expensive than it is!
McGee & Co. has gorgeous outdoor things, and they’re having their outdoor sale event, with 30% off right now! Love this gorgeous outdoor coffee table and side table, these planters are a classic European style, I’ve been eyeing these gorgeous floral napkins for awhile now, and if you need outdoor plates/dishes, it doesn’t get any cuter than these!
More cute terracotta planters? Yes, especially these with their cute ruffled edges! Love.
I ordered these blue and white floral napkins (gotta continue my blue and white era, right?) They’ve been hanging around in my cart for months and now they’re 40% off!
March’s best sellers: these outdoor woven planters (still on sale) were the top seller of the month! You also loved our outdoor wicker chairs, these weathered vases (30% off), and the glass lamp (20% off) I just ordered!
THINGS I’M WEARING/WANTING

Gingham has always been a favorite of mine, especially for spring and summer. And now after years of being ‘out’, it is back in a big way! I know I shared a blouse and a dress a couple of weeks ago, but in case you love it as much as I do, I thought I’d share a few more finds. This sleeveless top is so adorable (just ordered), love this pretty top – above (I want the whole outfit!), and how adorable is this gingham blazer? So perfect for spring!
I’m a huge fan of the Collette jean from Anthropologie – it’s flattering, comes in all kinds of colors and fabrics, and it’s a great price, too. And new for this spring is a dark blue jean with the cutest stitching!
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the J.Crew sale, with 40% off almost everything! This pintuck top with the embroidered florals is soo pretty and feminine – looks like Doën but for much less! (also I bought the same top in black last summer and it’s really flattering). Also love this pretty floral dress, this adorable bucket hat, and this linen blazer is perfection!
I’m loving wedges right now and this mesh pair reminds me of a pair I wore to death in the 90s – and they’re priced so well! (perfect with all the black and white gingham, too!)
March’s best sellers: this pretty suede wedge was the number 1 seller of the month! Other favorites included this gingham swimsuit, this gingham blouse (I’m sensing a theme here!), and this well-priced floral dress.
THINGS I’M WATCHING/READING

I always do more reading as spring and summer arrive – this is definitely my ‘reading season’ and I’m determined to up my reading from last summer.
As I mentioned last week, I just read Heart the Lover on our trip (sooo good!), and this week I started Broken Country. I first heard about this book last summer but only finally started it and I’m loving it! Gosh there’s nothing like a good book, right? Next on my list? The Correspondent.
If you have recommends, I’d love to hear!
THINGS I’M EATING/DRINKING

I adore Greek food, but it’s not one I make frequently. Trying to change that with this recipe for Chicken Tzatziki Bowls. They look healthy and delicious!
