Friday Favorites – Weekly Inspiration

Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!

I want to start off with a huge thank you for all the love on last week’s post about beautifying your home in small ways. You guys seemed to love it and I got such great feedback from you. In fact, this post created the single biggest day the blog has ever had – go figure! I was so surprised and thrilled so thank you!

And now let’s talk Friday Favorites this week – I’ve got so many fun things to share!

So many things to love about this pretty kitchen remodel but I’m especially smitten with those lanterns! See it here.

I’m having a little decor crush on all things scalloped these days! It all started with these cute plates from Target that I plan on using in some spring table settings (they also come in blue here) as well as the marble tray I shared last week that you all went crazy for (comes in 4 sizes). Then I found these adorable salad plates which I’m in love with. Those led to finding this pretty lamp shade which could add oomph to any existing lamp, these cute baskets, and these French-style planters (ordered!)

Along with scallops I’m obsessed with spring pillows. I just ordered this floral for the family room, one of my favorites of the season is this blue floral, also love this striped one, and this pretty floral is on clearance!

I’ve been working on finishing up some things here like artwork and rugs (haha, yes, still looking!) I recently ordered two vintage oil paintings of seascapes from Ebay. These two sellers have beautiful landscapes with low shipping. Here (been ordering from this guy for years and have at least 3 pieces from him) and here. And I had to share this print that I saw at Pottery Barn! I love the colors and the frame is gorgeous!

Oh yes, I’m focused on spring here too – and super excited to be able to wear some fun spring clothes soon! For early spring weather I love lightweight sweaters like this pretty linen one (especially the blue), these versatile pants could go anywhere (and they’re rated 5*),  these shorts are my favorite because they’re a little longer and come in tons of colors (including a gorgeous lavender!) Seriously if you need shorts for travel or anything else, order these early because they sell out every year! Slightly shorter version here.

I just ordered this lightweight linen-look blouse (it’s just like a Ralph Lauren one from last summer that was over $200), and these wide leg jeans are so cute for spring – love the front pockets! 🙂

And for spring weekends, showers, or graduations, this floral dress is gorgeous and 30% off, and this floral dress looks like it would be universally flattering. And I couldn’t resist a scalloped wardrobe addition with these adorable sandals!

So excited to see the new The Dropout show (it just came out last night). I was obsessed with the podcast and can’t wait to see the story played out on screen. A movie is also being made so there will be more of this story to come!

Looking forward to only-in-spring foods like rhubarb, asparagus and artichokes! In the meantime, I’m bridging the still kinda cold weather with the fact that the calendar says March with this Roasted Tomato and Basil Soup and these Roasted Baby Potatoes. They’re great with any protein.

This Instagram account offers lots of gorgeous interiors and inspiration.

Not that I’m any big crafter by any means, but this dupe of an Anthropologie moss wreath is perfect for spring and looks easy!

Next week I’ll be debuting my first spring post, but in the meantime if you’re looking for some early spring decor be sure to check out Simple Spring Kitchen Decorating Ideas here, my Spring Front Porch Refresh here, and a Garden-Inspired Easter Table here.

Happy Friday!
