Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!
It’s been a typical mercurial spring week here, warm and sunny one day and then gloomy and cold the next! But at least it’s spring inside! I’ve spent the last week cleaning, refreshing and adding a few seasonal touches. And next week I’ll be sharing my spring home tour and porch so stay tuned!
And now, let’s talk decor finds, fashion crushes, a new page-turner and more….
THINGS I LOVE IN DESIGN/DECOR
Love this pretty white kitchen!
Sharing some random finds this week: love this chair (a friend just got them and they’re so great!), these cute bunnies are on sale, and this vase/jar is so gorgeous!
I finally finished the new pillow selection for our family room (I only started last June!) I wanted to incorporate blue so I added this pretty floral mixed with this blue linen floral, and I’m combining them with some sage green, too.
And can we talk your favorites?? Over the last few weeks the number top sellers have been this pretty marble petal tray, the cutest bunny serving bowl, this beautiful linen bedding that’s exactly like mine (for a fraction of the price!), these adorable baskets, these pretty French planters, and this cute French farmhouse side table.
THINGS I’M WEARING/LOVING/WANTING
Lately I’ve been obsessed with the idea of an oh-so-chic French-inspired straw beach bag. I found this one first, but I also love this version with leather straps.
Things I’m loving this week: this loose linen dress, this white linen blouse, this lightweight cotton blouse and this sweet necklace.
And your fashion favorites recently have been this perfect striped tee, this gorgeous floral blouse and this one, these essential white jeans, my favorite gingham shirt (on sale!), these cute wedges, and this pretty linen top (on sale too!)
THINGS I’M WATCHING/READING/LISTENING TO
I just finished the best book! It’s called The Husband’s Secret and I’m telling you, I couldn’t put it down. Oh and it’s by the author of Big Little Lies (which I watched but never read) so we know what my next book is gonna be!
THINGS I’M MAKING/EATING/DRINKING
I’ve been wanting a few new dishes to put in the weekly rotation. These Skillet Chicken Fajitas look so good! And this Creamy White Bean Pesto Orzo Soup seems easy – love that for a weeknight.
RANDOM THOUGHTS
Totally crushing on this gorgeous blue cabinet color!
We may not be able to head back to Europe this year as planned, but that doesn’t mean we can’t take a romantic trip right here in the U.S.!
And on the blog? Spring! This week I shared 9 Easy Spring Decorating Ideas!
Happy Friday!

$120.00 for a pillow??? $48.00 for a tee shirt???Come on! Almost everything you link too is unaffordable for the vast majority of folks. I understand that you get a percentage of the items you link to if someone purchases them through your link. And of course the more expensive the item the more you make. But if no one can afford to purchase them you won’t make anything. I’m sure you can find links to items we might actually be able to purchase.

Hi Laurie! I’m sorry that you felt you couldn’t find enough affordable items this week. The pillows I linked happened to be the ones I purchased for my family room and I had some subscribers ask so I wanted to share that information for those who wanted it. And be assured I would never link anything in order to make more money. I link only things I love that I hope you all will love, too.
If you’ve been subscribing for awhile, I’m sure you’ve seen that I always include different price points in ALL of my posts. I have readers from all walks of life and with very different budgets, so I try to give options so there are things for everyone here.
And just to let you know, one of the reasons those pillows are more expensive is that they are handmade by someone on Etsy. As a small business, an Etsy store would have expenses that an Amazon or Walmart wouldn’t. They can’t buy in bulk or have things made in China. Obviously there are much cheaper pillows out there (I’ve shared many here) but part of what you pay for when buying from a small business is it being made here in the U.S. and I know many readers appreciate that.
By the way, that top from J. Crew is actually half off this week! And for many more less expensive pillows be sure to check out the Friday Favorites over the last couple of months where I shared pillows from Amazon that were TWO for $15 and many from Target for $20 or less. Thanks for stopping by!
