Welcome to Friday Favorites, a series where we share our favorite decor, design inspiration, fashion finds, TV shows, recipes and more!
THINGS I LOVE IN DESIGN/DECOR
This house is just lovely – like a breath of fresh air!
I just love using baskets and can’t get enough of them. This one has such a great European look and it’s huge!
Natural fiber rugs are so great, especially in the summer! My seagrass one is here, I love this diamond sisal one, and this jute one is so cute and a serious steal!
And this doormat is so adorable and priced so well (of course I love the French vibe!)
A little blue is always a good thing in summer don’t you think? How about these cute Ikat planters or this gorgeous vase? And every year I bring out my faux sea glass – it’s perfect for displaying around the house, and this sea glass garland would be stunning draped over a bowl!
THINGS I’M WEARING/LOVING/WANTING
How perfect is this linen blazer for summer (and it’s priced so well!) And this jumpsuit is so chic (comes in black too and is under $100) and perfect for a night out or a summer wedding! These white jeans are adorable – love the sailor style detail (and they’re half off!)
These cut-out leather sandals are so unique (they’re 50% off and come in white, too) and I love them in the heel (other colors here- also 40% off).
I don’t buy a ton of jewelry, but it is nice to add a couple new things for the season. I absolutely adore this double pearl necklace and it would look great layered with gold chains, these earrings are so colorful and fun for summer, and these earrings were recommended by a friend as a great basic you can where anywhere (they’d be pretty for summer weddings, too!)
Talk about random – I’ve been wanting to share this for awhile and I kept forgetting! For years I tried Tom’s and other natural deodorants and though I loved the idea of them being less toxic, they just didn’t work and I went back to the typical version. That is, until I discovered this one! It’s made in a completely different way from anything you’ll buy at the drugstore so it’s not toxic, and it works so well! My first container lasted 9 months so it’s well worth the cost if it’s something you’re wanting to change. For me, it was a total game-changer!
THINGS I’M WATCHING/READING/LISTENING TO
I just discovered a new Property Brothers show called Celebrity IOU. Have you seen it? To be honest, I’m not even a huge fan of theirs but this series is so good! The premise is a celebrity comes on and gifts a remodel for someone they care about. It’s sweet and touching and funny and a definite pick-me-up!
THINGS I’M MAKING/EATING/DRINKING
Tomato season is here! And one of our favorite ways to serve them is in a simple Caprese salad. But this recipe uses the ingenious idea of roasting them – making them richer and more tantalizing. Another version here – why not try both?
And this Parmesan Truffle Popcorn sounds divine! Perfect for summer movie nights. 😉
I’m so not a camper, but I have had a random fantasy of buying/fixing up an airstream and traveling the country. This one is so cute – definitely my kind of camping! 😉
These DIY concrete walls are amazing – they add such great European character to her space. I’m so tempted to try this!

Does this deodorant go on wet or dry?
Hi Mildred, it goes on wet – it’s a roll-on style (sorry I should have specified that!) Despite that, I love it and will never go back!
Hope that helps!

Where did you get the basket shown ? Looks like a woven bread bowl.
Hi Mary the basket is linked in the first home decor part of the post. Here is the link again:
Hope that helps!
