I’m a blazer lover – I have quite a few and I would say it’s a big part of my definitive style. But I wasn’t always someone who wore them. I think because I don’t work in a traditional office situation, it didn’t really land on my radar. However, once I started buying blazers and wearing them, I couldn’t stop!
There is almost nothing that can complete an outfit quite like a blazer does! They work in a professional arena, obviously, but they work in so many other ways as well. You can wear one with jeans and heels to go to dinner, combine it with flats and cropped skinnies for a lunch date or a day of shopping, or throw one on with sneakers on the weekend. They are the ideal thing to wear on those days when you don’t know what to put on!
I love this so much! Casual, but still pulled together.
A camel colored blazer is always a classic.
A striped blazer with ripped jeans makes such a cute combination!
Casual perfection! Plaid blazer, jeans, and cute flats.
This is something I’d go to dinner in! Love the white blazer with the jeans.
This all-black suit has such a cute and sporty vibe, and it’s great combined with sneaks for an unexpected twist.
I love that this is casual, but chic at the same time. The jacket definitely adds the right amount of panache.
Just love the pop of yellow!
Love this pink jacket.
Black double-breasted is such a classic.
This tweed jacket is darling!
So chic!
Another casual combo that just knocks it out of the park!
If you don’t have any, it’s great to start with a basic black one, a white one for summer, and maybe a navy as well. After that, you can add some fun colors or interesting textures or cuts. I can’t think of another piece of clothing that will give you as much bang for your buck! A couple of my favorite stores to buy blazers are J.Crew and Zara, but they are everywhere and at every price point. I’ve linked some really cute ones below (a lot of which are on sale!)
