Friday Favorites – Natural Gift Wrap
I recently shared how I’ve been into more of a ‘neutral’ Christmas lately, even swapping out our stockings and leaving some of our brighter ornaments off of the tree this year.
Now I want to take that concept a step further and do more of a natural gift wrap on all of our gifts. There are so many beautiful ways to wrap a gift that don’t involve buying wrapping paper at Target or the local Hallmark store! More beautiful, I think.
I guess I love the idea of “brown paper packages tied up with string” – both literally and figuratively.

Love this! Just brown paper, a ribbon, and some pine cones and yet, so pretty! |

Some greenery and a hand stamped tag add so much to this natural gift wrap! |

This one reads a little “fancier” due to the shinier ribbon and the frosted pine cones, but it still has the brown paper and hand stamped tag to add the homemade charm factor. |

Love that they just used string and added some vintage black and white photos – have to do this!! |

Love this candy cane striped twine and the stamping right on the package! |

Here they’ve used newspaper which I also love (messy though!) |
“Less is more” is very much my mood this year which is why the natural gift wrap look is really speaking to me. Now I just have to see if I can get the rest of the family to play along!
Have a lovely weekend!

Happy Holidays!

I love all of these! I am going to pin them all!!
These natural looking presents are so pretty. I would love to wrap all my presents that way but I usually wait until the last minute to wrap them and at that point I only have time to use store bought. I do try to use separate paper for each person in our extended family…not my kids though. They like to see a variety of gifts under the tree.
