Neutral Christmas Decor: European Style Holidays to Inspire

French or European style Christmas decorating tends to emphasize neutrals, with tones of gold, silver and white combined with lots of greenery to create a beautiful take on neutral Christmas decor.

I know it’s a busy time right now, and to be honest, I thought about skipping my Favorites post this week. But I thought maybe you might want a little distraction, or better yet, an excuse to procrastinate all those Christmas duties you haven’t finished yet!

Today I’m continuing my theme of neutral Christmas decor. Decorations that emphasize either nature and lots of greens, or focus on neutral colors like cream, gold, and silver. I’m just in love! If you want to see my Christmas tours that I did all in neutrals this year for the first time, you can click here and here.

This is a quick post with lots of inspiration, eye candy, and photos worth pinning!

A Pottery Barn runner and Target slipcovers lighten up the heavy oak dining-room set that once belonged to Trina's great-great grandparents. Bright idea: Turn a wreath into a framed work of art by hanging it atop a mirror.

I hope you’re all enjoying the time leading up to the holidays. I know we all can get so crazy trying to get everything done in time, that sometimes we rush right by it and don’t get to actually enjoy it.

Wishing you time to slow down and savor this wonderful time of year, while spending time with the ones you love.

Happy Holidays!
