Today is one of my favorite posts of the year! I’m joining my friend Lory of Designthusiasm as part of her Styled + Set: Holiday Entertaining Tour. I joined this tour last year, and she always has amazingly talented people in the group. This blog hop has over 20 bloggers sharing their holiday tables and entertaining tips, and I absolutely love it!
Because I love setting tables, I sit down with a big coffee and peruse this tour from end to end – getting ideas and inspiration for table settings to come! And if you love tablescapes as much as I do, you can check out my free e-book which covers twelve whole months of beautiful (and easy!) tables!
Today I’m featuring an easy and elegant Green and White Christmas Tablescape. I wanted to do something very different from my Romantic Blush Pink Tablescape of a couple weeks ago, but I couldn’t really go the whole red route since all of my other Christmas decor is so soft and subtle in color. Green is my favorite color, and I love how it mixes with the soft pinks that are on the tree, so green and white it is (with touches of gold 😉 )….
I had a vision of a table mounded with eucalyptus as the “runner.” And that, along with some mercury glass baubles and lots of white created the look I was going for.
The little place cards are something I made. I used thick white card stock shipping tags and used some lettered stamps I had and then stamped initials on them in gold ink.
Using twine I just bundled them with my gold flatware, and I love how it turned out. Pulled together, but still casual. Like high heels with jeans!
I added some eucalyptus leaves and bunches of faux white berries along with the place card. They sit on a casual white napkin with green stripes.
The brass candlesticks are the only new item on the table. I love the vintage look of these!
I do love that we can see the tree from here. It makes for such nice holiday meals, dinner parties, and Christmas dinners in this room!
I hope you enjoyed my Green and White Christmas Tablescape! For sources for most of the items on my table, you can click and shop the photos below. And, to get sources on my Christmas tree or see other Christmas tours, you can access those at the links below!
