Holiday Porch Decorated with Greens & a Touch of Blue
Well hello friends! Hope you all had a wonderful long holiday weekend (preferably one that involved stretchy pants, haha!) I’m coming down off the high of having all my kids home and under one roof. But luckily, I’ll be busy with lots of Christmas posts for you this week! 😉
My porch is one of my favorite things to dress for the holidays. I love that it sets the tone for the inside of my home, and it definitely helps to make it feel Christmas-y in the neighborhood. This year, I introduced blue for the first time in my kitchen, family room, and entry way tours, and I wanted to continue a bit of that on the porch, too. So welcome to my holiday porch decorated with lots of greens, and a touch of blue….
Hudson says welcome and come on in! This year, I’ve added a small noble fir tree to the porch and I love it! It’s something I’ve wanted to do for awhile now, but surprisingly, these are hard to find in California! In years past I almost ordered them but they were so expensive. But this year, I walked into Home Depot and this one was waiting for me!
And the gorgeous garland is from Lynch Creek Farms! This is the Premium Garland, which combines cedar, noble fir, and pine. It’s so pretty, and I love how fresh it smells. Their products are such high quality, and there is free shipping on all orders! And I love that I’m supporting a family-owned farm.
I’m super excited about these handmade wreaths from Gathering Garden! I love that they have some of the small blue Juniper berries – which works so well with my “touch of blue” theme! The blue velvet ribbons were from Etsy.
Next to the little noble I added a vintage bucket and my favorite Park Hill lanterns from Pottery Barn.
I filled the vintage ash bucket with some birch logs, frosted pine cones, and more fresh greens.
Just a few mercury glass ornaments add a little sparkle to the noble fir.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my holiday porch, and that you’ll stop by again later this week for a holiday tablescape as well as my living and dining room tours!
