A fall front porch is one of my favorite things about the season! Whenever I pass one all decorated with pumpkins and mums, it always seems so warm and inviting. There’s something inherently cozy about fall, and I love the outside of my home to reflect that!
Well, it may not be quite fall on the calendar yet, but we are all fall here at French Country Fridays this week!
Here at Maison de Cinq it’s been a busy week! We were all about fall here, too. 😉 I shared a warm and cozy fall table, my family room dressed for fall, and a fun post all about my favorite paint colors! And in case that wasn’t enough inspiration for you, there are more decor and ideas below, so let’s see what beauty my friends are sharing today…
One question I get a lot here and even more so on Instagram, is what paint colors I have in my home. Whenever I post different rooms, I invariably get asked about the different colors I’ve used. So when the ladies from Project Design asked me if I’d like to share in a post with them about my favorite paint colors, I thought this would be a great chance for me to share what I’ve used and love (and don’t love!) in my home!
Today’s post continues with more fall decorating, and as I did with my kitchen and mantel, I’m keeping it simple and subtle. This year I’m very into the faded versions of fall colors. Blush, faded greens and rusts, and some cream create a more subdued version of fall that really works for me right now. These are traditional fall colors, but in more muted and slightly toned down shades. This subtle fall decorating feels as seasonal as the brighter versions, and I love how soft and cozy it feels!
As I’m sure you know by now, I love fall! The warm scents, cozy sweaters, changing leaves… they all just put me in the mood for more cooking and baking, and more entertaining. Today I’m sharing an earthy and warm fall table setting in tones of green and brown that’s perfect for any fall entertaining you might be doing. I’m loving these hues! They say fall, but in a more subdued way than the bright oranges and rusts.
Hello and welcome to French Country Fridays where we share lots of French-ish inspiration!
I’m so excited for the fall season (even though it’s still warm here!) Today I’m sharing a tour from last year’s fall porch (I haven’t started on this year’s… yet!), but I also shared some new fall posts this past week. If you missed them, you can catch my romantic fall mantel here, as well as a charming fall table setting with apples.
