Hello all and welcome to French Country Fridays! I hope you’re all having a wonderful week! I spent a few days in beautiful Seattle, taking my son to his college orientation. The best part was his orientation was two days, while mine was only one. That meant one whole day of shopping, eating, and exploring all on my own – kind of a “mom mini-vacation”! 😉
As I’m sure a lot of you know, I’m a candle lover! Candles are something I adore, and I almost always have one burning in the house. I love how they can warm up a space just with their scent. They can convey a feeling, a mood, or even a season. Truthfully, I can never have too many!
We’ve all heard the saying, I know, so you may think my answer doesn’t seem terribly original. But I am really not kidding when I say we chose our house for the location, because, it’s almost the only reason to have chosen it!
Today I’m sharing the back story of our house and why we chose it, and I’m joining 13 other bloggers who are also sharing their “Why I Chose My House” stories! This blog hop is hosted by my friend Jennifer of Town and Country Living.
Hello everyone, and welcome to French Country Fridays!
I’m such a fall person so I can hardly believe I’m saying this, but I don’t want summer to end. I’m loving having all my kids home! And maybe it’s because my son is headed to college this fall, or that we’ve had such beautiful weather, or even that I finally have a nice backyard to spend time in, but this is the first time I can ever remember not being ready for school to start!
I’m pretty sure I know what you’re thinking ~ at least those of you who’ve been reading for awhile, haha! I’ve been promising this post for awhile now, and it’s finally here! Today I’m so excited to be sharing my backyard and pool renovation reveal!
Hello and welcome to French Country Fridays!
I have always loved Fridays. The way that the whole weekend is spread out ahead of you, just full of possibility. There is just nothing like that feeling!
We usually spend our Friday nights making homemade pizza and all watching a movie together, and it’s one of my absolute favorite things we do as a family. And with my son leaving for college in two short months (sniff, sniff), I’m soaking up as much time with them as I can. So, here’s to Fridays, movies, and family time!
