Rustic Harvest Autumn Tablescape with Touches of Gold & Copper
This autumn tablescape captures the feeling of a rustic harvest, combining distressed elements with pumpkins and dried artichokes with depth added from touches of gold and copper.
We are in the middle of a heat wave and I’m dreaming of cooler weather and falling leaves. But while I’m waiting, I’m finding ways to be creative, and one of my favorite things to do is create tablescapes. Fall entertaining is one of my favorites!
For me, there’s no easier time to entertain – I love that the food is things like a roast chicken and vegetables that can just be thrown in the oven. This is the season of cozy, which for me, calls for more time with family, cooking, baking, and entertaining.
Today’s Rustic Harvest Autumn Tablescape incorporates some soft fall color and warm metals, as well as lots of natural elements.
For this table, I started with the flowers. I love incorporating traditional fall color but in a softer form. I combined white lisianthus with seeded eucalyptus along with some soft rust flowers and cat tails in a vintage French urn.
The runner is a plaid one I got at Target last year and I’ve never used it on a tablescape before. I love the soft rust mixed with the grey! (Mine is sold out but I found this option that’s almost exactly the same!)
One of my favorite things on this table is the wood chargers. I love the rustic element they bring to the table! On top I layered two white plates and a tiny white pumpkin I got at the Target dollar bin.
I love the gold flatware, too! The richer color adds so much warmth, and it’s especially appropriate on an autumn table!
I also like to add some seasonal items to a table when I can. It’s so nice to have some natural touches that represent the season. Small white Casper pumpkins, dried artichokes, and seeded eucalyptus run down the center of the table along with brass candlesticks and some copper votives.
The napkins are a coordinating paisley.
These brass candlesticks are my new favorite! I love how they bring warmth to any table and they’re so versatile, too!
I’m looking forward to some fun fall entertaining this year, and I hope this gives you some ideas for your own table settings. This autumn tablescape would be perfect for anything from a casual dinner party to Thanksgiving!
