I love all the seasons, but spring and summer definitely have a special place in my heart. After months of rain (or snow), it’s a balm to the soul to see sunshine. Just seeing the first buds appear or hearing birds sing makes everything feel a little bit lighter.

 

But how to bring the spirit of spring to your home? It’s easier than you think! By implementing some simple changes your home will feel as sunny as a spring day, whether your weather is cooperating or not!

 

1. Add linen pillows in lighter colors or floral patterns to the sofa.

2. Change out dish soap and hand soap in the kitchen and bathrooms for ones in scents reminiscent of spring. Scent is a powerful mood booster!

3. Use a garden basket for display in the kitchen or breakfast area.

 

4. Display a cute myrtle or herb topiary in the kitchen.

5. Make or buy a potting bench and outfit it with all your cutest pots and planters.

6. Add a concrete bunny to the porch or garden.

 

7. Add something in rattan or wicker, like a bowl to display fruit or a vase for flowers or branches.
