Looking for spring table decor ideas? This gorgeous (but easy!) outdoor table featuring pink peonies and soft blues is perfect for any spring event, from a graduation party, to a Mother’s Day brunch, to a wedding or baby shower, or just a spring gathering with friends!
Well, spring is finally, officially, here, and I have to say, I’m all in! Most of my friends who were still getting snow are done with it, and I think it’s warmed up enough to start fantasizing about all I want to do during this spring and summer.
After the last 12 months of almost no family and friends, as well as absolutely no entertaining, I’m so ready! I am really looking forward to celebrations with those I love in the coming months. From Mother’s Day, to my daughter’s graduation, and of course backyard dinner parties, it’s feeling like we can finally embrace all that lovely time around a table. And you guys know it’s one of my favorite things in the world. 🙂
I truly can’t think of much I love more than lingering around a table with family and friends. Good food, good wine, conversation and laughter. I mean, does it get any better than that?!
This table is very evocative of what I gravitate to. Simple place settings on a wood table with cozy wicker chairs and some gorgeous flowers. When you’re dining outdoors you don’t need much more!
Soft colors of pink and blue form the basis of this spring table decor, and it couldn’t have been easier!
Pink peonies plopped into a vintage French zinc bucket form the centerpiece and it doesn’t get much simpler than that! I also added some eucalyptus for some greenery.
The plates are from Pottery Barn and one of my favorites! They’re so versatile. They can look blue, gray or even lavender depending on what you put them with, and they have an uncanny ability to look casual but chic at the same time! 😉
In the center of the table I combined some chicken wire candle holders with lots of inexpensive glass votives to create lots of candlelight for lots of evening lingering.
And those pink peonies speak for themselves!
I hope this gives you some inspiration for some beautiful but simple spring table decor. It’s so easy to pull together a casual but chic outdoor table and it’s perfect for almost anything from an informal dinner party to a Mother’s Day brunch!
