We’ve all talked about it, and we’ve definitely all felt it! As soon as I take down Christmas, I’m relishing the clean, pared down aesthetic. For awhile. And then, not so much. My house starts to feel pretty bare, and on top of that, it’s cold, it’s dreary, and it makes me long for spring.
So, I’m admittedly a pumpkin freak... I like the infamous Pumpkin Spice Lattes, as well as anything else pumpkin flavored. And I especially love pumpkin scented candles! But I also love a lot of the other scents of fall. So in this post, I wanted to share with you the most amazing fall candles out there – and they’re not all pumpkin scented!
Frasier Fir by Thymes is exactly like it sounds; with a “just cut forest fragrance.” Soy-based.White Fir by Trapp is another forest-y scent. Soy-based.
This candle is a new one for me this year and is actually hand-made by a friend. Frosted Spruce by Wynn & Roo smells like fresh greenery with just a hint of citrus. Soy-based.
I absolutely adore fall, it’s by far my favorite season. And one of the things I look forward to most is pumpkin everything! To say I love anything pumpkin would probably be an understatement. I love pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, but maybe most of all, I love a pumpkin scented candle! I start burning them in September and would probably burn them all year if it weren’t for the fact that Christmas comes around! And since I have purchased many pumpkin candles over the years, I thought I would share with you my absolute favorites. There is nothing worse than running home with that new candle, all excited to burn it for the first time, only to find out it’s too strong or that it smells weird, too sweet, or not at all! So the idea is to save you from all that. These are tested; tried and true! Long lasting, amazing smelling, and usually, soy based which is a little healthier. Here are my Top 5 Favorite Pumpkin Scented Candles (in no particular order):
Anyone who knows me, knows I love anything pumpkin! From any and all pumpkin desserts (cheesecake! pie! ice cream!) to pumpkin butter and pumpkin bread, to candles. I love the smell of pumpkin and all the warm, cozy spices that go with it. There is truly nothing like the smell of pumpkin pie baking, or a pumpkin candle wafting through the air. So, because of my (slight) pumpkin obsession, I have purchased many, many pumpkin candles over the years. Some have been too sweet, some too expensive, and some just not quite right. However, I now have two that I think are so perfect, I may never buy a new one again. So if you love pumpkin candles as much as I do, you will be so excited to have found these. I think these are the best out there, and both smell amazing!
I think I have shared with you before about my candle obsession. I absolutely love aromatic candles around the house. I love to scent the house with something cozy, or delicious, or clean, but it can’t be too perfume-y or fake smelling. And I like it to be soy, if possible, since paraffin is so unhealthy (and I tend to burn them for hours at a time!) So, I was super excited when I found Linnea’s Lights. They are a small, family owned company based in Indiana. And their candles are hand poured, small batch, and triple scented. And they have amazing fragrances! I first discovered them in the Fall when I purchased their Pumpkin scent. Mind you, I have about 4 or 5 different pumpkin scented candles and none of them are as good as this one. Then recently, I bought the Tomato. I know that sounds weird, but trust me, it is equally delicious. It smells like spring, but even better. I’ve also tried the Grapefruit and the Beachwood.
