Welcome to another week of French Country Fridays! This week is so fun because two of my friends are sharing French travel posts – something that’s always fun to read (and dream!) about! Also, be sure to check back in later today at 9:30a PST. That’s when I’ll be sharing another post with all my favorite picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
Well, hello friends! I feel like it’s been so long since I’ve been on here! Between our vacation to North Carolina, and then entertaining house guests for a week, and then the long Fourth of July weekend, it’s been a little hectic! I meant to publish this post last week, but time kept getting away from me. Anyway, I’m so happy to be back! Hope you are all well and that you enjoyed a wonderful Fourth with your family and friends!
Hello friends and Happy July! Hope you had a wonderful Fourth yesterday and lots of fun with family and friends! Today is another installment of French Country Fridays, where we share our French ideas, decor, and inspiration with you!
I know I said I’d be back this week, but unfortunately, a sick kid and the short week got me behind. I’m so sorry about that! I’m hoping to be back next week with more content ~ I’ve got new French country lighting to share, as well as more outdoor areas! I sure hope you’ll stay around and pop back in next week! In the meantime, let’s see what inspiration my friends are sharing this week….
We are out of town with family this week visiting the Outer Banks area in North Carolina and I’m in love with the area! I love the shingle-style houses, the grasses and rickety fences on the edge of the beach, and they have the prettiest skies! So I apologize about not having a new post earlier this week – trying to work while on vacation with spotty internet is no easy task!
Good morning from our French Country Fridays tribe! This week we have some wonderful French-ish inspiration for you!
But before we get to that, I just wanted to remind you to check out my summer tours if you haven’t already! My summer kitchen was last month (how has it been that long already?!), and my French Farmhouse Living and Dining Room Tour was published last week. I also shared my new outdoor patio area, and several summer tablescape and entertaining ideas over the last few weeks.
I don’t know if it’s because it reminds me of my childhood and that “school’s out!” feeling, or if it’s something deeper, but summer feels different in so many ways. There is just something about the spirit of this season – even for those of us who have long been out of school – that makes it special. It’s like everyone let’s out a collective sigh and just relaxes a little bit more.
