Hi all, and Happy First Day of Spring! I’m so excited to be sharing my first spring home tour of the season, and I’m joined by eleven of my favorite bloggers who are also sharing their very best spring decorating ideas! If you’re landing here from my friend Lory’s, thanks so much for stopping by. She always has the most beautiful flowers, and I have a feeling this tour will be no exception!
Happy Friday! It’s time for another week of French Country Fridays where we all share French design, decor, DIYs, and entertaining ideas each week.
This week I’ve been feeling so much better. I’ve finally been driving so, of course, one of my first outings was to the antique mall (shocker there)! Not only did it feel so good just to do some “normal” things again, but I found the most amazing French urn! I’ll be sharing it next week when my spring blog hop goes live on Tuesday. I have ten friends joining me so I hope you’ll tune in for that!
Happy Friday, and welcome to another French Country Fridays where we celebrate all things French-ish! I am so thrilled at the response we’ve had to this series! Looks like you all love French inspiration as much as we do 🙂
For me, my love of French Country or French Farmhouse style really lies in the casual spirit of it. It mixes old and new, elegant and casual, in an offhand way that I just love. This style values patina and age, so that things that are chipped or scratched are not only still used, but still loved. Good thing, since much of my furniture is pretty distressed from real life with three kids! My “casual chic” aesthetic really stems from this. The mix of a crystal chandelier with a rusted bucket. Or a chippy table holding a silver candlestick. That mix is what really makes my heart skip a beat!
Welcome to the very first French Country Fridays! We’ve been tossing around this idea for a couple of months now, and I’m so excited to finally be sharing it with all of you! This week marks the start of a weekly series titled French Country Fridays. What does that mean for you? I’m joining with six of my absolute favorite fellow French-loving bloggers for a weekly post that will feature French Country-inspired posts!
I’ve been a little uninspired in the decorating department since taking all the Christmas decor down, but with Valentine’s Day coming soon, it’s the perfect excuse to break out some pretty pink decor! Today I’m joining some talented blogging friends for the Styled + Set Entertaining Blog Hop. If you’re coming here from our host, Lory of Designthusiam, I’m so glad you’re here!
Good morning everyone! I must admit I’m definitely feeling festive and really starting to get in the holiday mood! Thanksgiving was last week, and I’ve been busy finishing up the decorating over the last few days. (Which also means I now have permission to blast Christmas music daily!) And I’m excited to be joining 14 fellow bloggers for a Holiday Home Tour today! These holiday home tours are definitely my favorite posts to do all year. Not only do I love decorating for the holidays, but I get so much inspiration and sheer joy from looking at all the other houses dressed up, too! If you’re coming here from Kathleen at Lindsay Hill Interiors, thanks so much for stopping by. Kathleen has the most beautiful taste, and her Christmas decor is no exception!
