Well, this is it! After six weeks of planning, ordering, running around, set-backs, and a last minute flurry of activity, I’m finally revealing my French-inspired Home Office Makeover! This was my very first One Room Challenge, and I’m so thankful to Linda of Calling it Home for creating this event where designers and bloggers have a chance to design a room from start to finish. And I have to say – I’m hooked!
Well, it’s here! The final week before my big One Room Challenge reveal and I must admit, I’m feeling the pressure! When you’re under a deadline, it really does make time speed by!
However, I am happy to report some successes (as well as another snafu) this week. Let’s start with the successes shall we?!
Hello friends! I’m here with another update on the One Room Challenge, and sadly, I don’t have as much to report as I had hoped. For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you know that I’ve been having painter problems. Namely, no painters showing up! Besides the fact that I’m incredibly frustrated, I’m also sad because they have put me behind. Hopefully (fingers crossed!) they are done by this Friday! After that, there is really only one week to get everything put together and photographed for the big reveal!
Maybe it’s because I don’t actually have an office of my own, but I am so inspired by all the gorgeous offices I’ve been seeing lately! We do have an office of sorts that is in part of our garage, but as you can imagine, it’s fairly dark. And not only that, it’s rather hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. As such, I’m usually writing the blog while standing in the kitchen or sitting in the dining room! Not only do I need an office for practical purposes, but it would be so fun to decorate one! With all the amazingly chic home offices I’m seeing, I’m so ready to decorate one of my own.
