Here I am, writing well into the night. Why? Because today I received one of the most beautiful books I’ve ever seen in my life, and I couldn’t stop looking at it. I’ve literally been reading it, salivating over it, and looking at it again for the last couple of hours.
Hi all and Happy Friday! It’s been a little bit of a tough week over here as I threw out my back last Thursday and am still not back to normal. So sadly, I didn’t have a whole lot of posts for you this week. Between my back injury and getting the kids ready for school (yes, we started this week!) the blogging just didn’t happen! I’m hoping next week I’ll be feeling more like myself, and have some fun posts to share with you all!
Hi all, and welcome to our fun weekly series, French Country Fridays, where we all share a little French-ish inspo!
This week has been one of those high/low ones for me. Do you ever have those? I had a migraine for two days and I managed to throw out my back (still dealing with that) but, we passed our inspection and we are finally plastering and filling our pool!! Woot, woot! Only a month later, but I’ll take it!
Today I’m (finally) sharing my new-to-me antique farmhouse table! It is now in it’s new home in our breakfast room/kitchen dining area and I couldn’t be happier! I received the table a few months back, but I was waiting until I had found chairs to do the final reveal.
Hello all and welcome to another week of our series, French Country Fridays! I’m in the throes of summer now for sure – today is our sixth day straight of a heat wave that doesn’t seem to have any end in sight! So while still waiting for our backyard and our pool 🙁 to be finished, we’re trying to beat the heat any way we can.
Lately I’ve been really loving mirrors. Because, ironically, of all the things I decorate with, mirrors are not usually one of them. I tend to buy art more than I buy mirrors. Not including bathroom mirrors, I have two – two! – decorative mirrors in my whole home! I have a mirror over my living room mantel, and my beloved French antique trumeau mirror in my entry way which is one of my all-time favorite things I’ve ever purchased. But I’ve been wanting to add a couple more.
