Hello friends and welcome to French Country Fridays! Hope you’re all finally enjoying some spring weather wherever you are! I feel like our spring finally arrived!! We’ve had some cool days (typical for spring) but the warm weather is definitely peeking it’s head out!
Well, here it is, week 3 of the ORC already! How did that happen?! Boy if you ever want to speed up time, just join the One Room Challenge, haha!
This week has consisted of a lot of things, including ordering a ton of stuff! But although I have a pile of boxes in the corner of my master bedroom (the UPS guy is definitely on a first name basis now!), a lot is still on back order or yet to arrive! Eek! Some of my delivery dates are so close – let’s just cross our fingers that they arrive in time!
If you’ve been a follower or subscriber of mine for any length of time, then I’m sure you know I’m a long time fan of designer Brooke Giannetti. I’ve featured her designs in the pages of Maison de Cinq many times, and I was an early reader of her popular blog, Velvet & Linen. During the time, I followed the building of her dream home, Patina Farm, lapping up each post detailing the process. Hers was one of the first blogs I ever followed, and to say she’s been an inspiration is an understatement. She is probably the single biggest influence on my style, and definitely hands down my favorite designer.
Hi friends, and welcome to another installment of our French inspiration series, French Country Fridays!
It’s been pretty busy and bustling here at MdC, with one kid just home from spring break, another one who’s off next week, college travel visits planned, and of course, the craziness of the One Room Challenge! If you missed this week’s update, you can catch that post here. This weekend will be a crafty one for me, with lots of furniture painting (and stripping!) Wish me luck, haha!
Do you love spring as much as I do?! To me, it is one of my favorite seasons. There is just something so lovely about the flower buds popping out, the grass turning green, and some sunshine on your face after a long (and in my case, wet) winter!
