Happy Friday all! It’s been quite a week for me, and though I try to stay positive most of the time, I am sure glad this one’s over! Between the craziness of the last week of school, electrical installations/problems, and getting a flat tire yesterday, I’m so ready for some down time!
Hi friends and welcome to another French Country Fridays where myself and six other bloggers share our French-ish design inspiration, decor ideas, DIY projects, and entertaining tips!
Spring has finally sprung here and I have to tell you, I am giddy! We’ve been having the most amazing windows-open, nice-breeze-in-the-air weather and it makes me so happy. I don’t know about you, but since getting (a little!) older, I truly appreciate how much the weather affects everything. Your day, your mood – just about anything can be turned around with a gorgeous, blue sky day!
As I’m sure you know by now, I’m a bit of a Francophile 😉
I love French interiors, and I consider my home to be at least somewhat French-inspired. But along with French decor and design, I also love French style! And when I say French style, I don’t mean Fashion Week in Paris or Coco Chanel, though those are fun, too. No, I’m talking the chic, everyday style of fashionable French women.
It’s Friday friends…. I made it! It’s been a pretty crazy week, I’m not gonna lie! Between real life and getting my home office finished for it’s final reveal for the One Room Challenge, it’s had it’s moments! But I finally have a home office that is mine and truly reflects me. And I’m no longer working in the garage, or on the dining room table, and I’m so grateful for that. I’ve linked it below and I hope you’ll check it out if you didn’t get a chance to see it earlier!
Well, this is it! After six weeks of planning, ordering, running around, set-backs, and a last minute flurry of activity, I’m finally revealing my French-inspired Home Office Makeover! This was my very first One Room Challenge, and I’m so thankful to Linda of Calling it Home for creating this event where designers and bloggers have a chance to design a room from start to finish. And I have to say – I’m hooked!
Hey everyone and welcome to French Country Fridays! I hope you’ve all been having a good week. Mine has been consumed with decorating – in every sense of the word! I’m frantically trying to finish my One Room Challenge for the big reveal next week, continuing to look for dining tables and chairs for my own house, as well as working with two clients. To say I’m going to bed and waking up thinking of decor would not be an exaggeration!
