For a blogger who normally posts roughly twice a week, this season has sure been busy! Hopefully you’re not sick of hearing from me, as I’m sharing another holiday home tour post today. This time I’m joining the 12 Days of Holiday Homes Tour hosted by 11 Magnolia Lane and Evolution of Style, and I’m excited to show you my Soft & Subtle Christmas Front Porch!
Today’s post is a special one for me! As you know, I often join in blog hops with other bloggers for seasonal tours, but today, I’m hosting a Farmhouse Christmas Tour with my sweet friend Lisa at Farmhouse on Boone. We both did this one a couple of years ago, but then this year, we decided to bring it back. And bring it back we did!
Good morning friends, and welcome to my first Christmas post of the season! I know it’s a little early for some (ie; my husband, haha!), but as bloggers we love to decorate early and, hopefully, inspire others. So on that note, today I’m joining the most amazing group of bloggers for Ella Claire’s Seasons of Home Holiday Series. This group is so talented and full of style – I just know you’ll find all kinds of inspiration from them!
Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed the holidays, and I also hope you’ve had a chance to do some relaxing and unwinding after the busyness of the season.
As each year comes to a close, I usually take this last week to relax and recharge. And also, to take stock. One of the things I like most about blogging is the fact that everything is documented; it’s fun to go back and look at what I was doing, interested in, and talking about during the different points of the year. And, I love seeing how each post has done. It’s sometimes surprising to see what post did the best, and what people responded to the most (and those two are not necessarily the same!)
I’ve been so excited to share this tour with you as it’s like nothing I’ve done before. I’m always sharing my house during the day, but today’s tour is all about the magic of Christmas nights! My sweet friend Rachel of the gorgeous blog Maison de Pax put this tour together, and I just think it’s such a creative idea. I love seeing all the houses at night – there is truly something magical about the twinkle lights of the tree and the glow of a roaring fire.
