Hi all! Today I’m joining a Valentine’s Day decorating blog hop and we’re all sharing some simple Valentine’s decorating ideas! If you’re landing here from my friend Joan at 2 Ladies & a Chair, welcome! Usually I don’t do a lot for Valentine’s Day, especially since my children are a little older now. But I do love a touch of pink as a nod to the holiday, and of course, you know how much I love flowers!
Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed the holidays, and I also hope you’ve had a chance to do some relaxing and unwinding after the busyness of the season.
As each year comes to a close, I usually take this last week to relax and recharge. And also, to take stock. One of the things I like most about blogging is the fact that everything is documented; it’s fun to go back and look at what I was doing, interested in, and talking about during the different points of the year. And, I love seeing how each post has done. It’s sometimes surprising to see what post did the best, and what people responded to the most (and those two are not necessarily the same!)
I’ve been so excited to share this tour with you as it’s like nothing I’ve done before. I’m always sharing my house during the day, but today’s tour is all about the magic of Christmas nights! My sweet friend Rachel of the gorgeous blog Maison de Pax put this tour together, and I just think it’s such a creative idea. I love seeing all the houses at night – there is truly something magical about the twinkle lights of the tree and the glow of a roaring fire.
Obviously if you’ve been a reader for awhile now, you know that I love neutral Christmas decor. You can read here about when I first was falling love with a neutral Christmas palette. Well, it turns out, I’m more in love with it than ever!
Hi everyone! I’m joining some blogging friends today for a small blog hop sharing Christmas inspiration. I actually intended to share my Christmas entryway as part of my Front Porch Tour last week, but I hadn’t finished the garland and just couldn’t swing it that early. Then I had several cloudy days which made taking pictures impossible, so it just worked out to share it now.
