Hi friends! It’s been busy here at Maison de Cinq as I’m sharing my second fall tour in a week! I’m thrilled to be a part of the Seasonal Simplicity Fall Tour, hosted by Krista from The Happy Housie. Today I’m joining seven other bloggers and we’re all sharing our fall tours, with over 35 total sharing during this week. If you’re coming to me from Deeply Southern Home and are new to my blog, welcome! Be sure to scroll down to the end of the post to see all the inspiration!
Today I’m (finally) sharing my new-to-me antique farmhouse table! It is now in it’s new home in our breakfast room/kitchen dining area and I couldn’t be happier! I received the table a few months back, but I was waiting until I had found chairs to do the final reveal.
Hi and happy Wednesday! Today I’m excited to be joining a fun summer home tour hosted by the fabulous Krista of The Happy Housie. If you’re coming here from my friend Jamie’s, welcome! She just released a gorgeous French decor book, which I wrote all about it in this post. And you can check it out here!
Happy Friday! It’s time for another week of French Country Fridays where we all share French design, decor, DIYs, and entertaining ideas each week.
This week I’ve been feeling so much better. I’ve finally been driving so, of course, one of my first outings was to the antique mall (shocker there)! Not only did it feel so good just to do some “normal” things again, but I found the most amazing French urn! I’ll be sharing it next week when my spring blog hop goes live on Tuesday. I have ten friends joining me so I hope you’ll tune in for that!
Happy Friday, and welcome to another French Country Fridays where we celebrate all things French-ish! I am so thrilled at the response we’ve had to this series! Looks like you all love French inspiration as much as we do 🙂
For me, my love of French Country or French Farmhouse style really lies in the casual spirit of it. It mixes old and new, elegant and casual, in an offhand way that I just love. This style values patina and age, so that things that are chipped or scratched are not only still used, but still loved. Good thing, since much of my furniture is pretty distressed from real life with three kids! My “casual chic” aesthetic really stems from this. The mix of a crystal chandelier with a rusted bucket. Or a chippy table holding a silver candlestick. That mix is what really makes my heart skip a beat!
Today I’m finally sharing the details of my trip this past fall to San Francisco and Napa Valley with the Zephyr Blogger/Designer Retreat, and I’ve also got an amazing giveaway for you! So make sure you read all the way to the end for all the details on how to enter!
