If you follow design trends at all, or peruse Pinterest frequently, I’m sure you’ve seen the trendy patterned tiles in bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms. I think I first saw them a couple of years ago, and from that moment on, I was smitten!
Today I’m (finally) sharing my new-to-me antique farmhouse table! It is now in it’s new home in our breakfast room/kitchen dining area and I couldn’t be happier! I received the table a few months back, but I was waiting until I had found chairs to do the final reveal.
Today I’m sharing a friend’s master bathroom remodel that I thought you’d all enjoy seeing. This was a project we finished about a year and a half ago, but I never got a chance to go back and take photos until now!
This was one of the first projects that I helped to design, and it was a lot of fun to work on. A friend asked if I would help her in making some choices for her master bathroom remodel, and I was more than happy (and excited) to help. I mean, go shopping for things like mirrors, tubs, and marble with a friend? That’s like candy to me!
So I’ve been looking for a dining room table for what seems like forever now! Not looking everyday, all-the-time mind you, but looking here and there and shopping around for at least two years. I’ve been looking on the internet, in catalogs, shops, and antique stores, as well as on sites such as Chairish and Ebay.
Simple Summer Kitchen Tour in Shades of Blue
Last winter I decided, quite out of the blue, to re-do my college age son’s room. Once I got into it, friends (and my husband) kept asking “Why are you spending money on a room for him when he may never be home permanently again?” And frankly, it did give me pause. Why was I spending money on a possibly temporary teen boy’s room? (Other than the fact that I like decorating, haha!)
