Hi all, and Happy First Day of Spring! I’m so excited to be sharing my first spring home tour of the season, and I’m joined by eleven of my favorite bloggers who are also sharing their very best spring decorating ideas! If you’re landing here from my friend Lory’s, thanks so much for stopping by. She always has the most beautiful flowers, and I have a feeling this tour will be no exception!
I’ve been playing around with the decor on my mantel quite a bit lately. It’s so easy at Christmas; between the garland and the stockings, it’s pretty much a no-brainer. But at other times of the year, I like to change it around and sometimes it takes me awhile to get it just right. That’s how I ended up with three versions of a spring mantel 🙂
If you’ve got some Easter or spring events to plan for, then this is definitely the post for you! Today I’m joining some of my blogging friends for an Easter Blog Hop, where we’re all bringing you our Easter decor ideas. If you’re coming here from Kim and Lacey’s at Styled with Lace, thanks so much for stopping by! There are twelve of us joining in over a two day period, so there’ll be lots of Easter decor ideas and inspiration for you! You can get to the friends joining me today, as well as all the bloggers who posted yesterday, at the end of the post!
Spring is always such a fun time to entertain. After the long days of winter (and I know some of you are still having those!) it’s nice to see spring-y colors, green hills, and fresh blooms. It makes me excited to have spring dinner parties and start planting my garden!
As I’ve shared with you all before, I love to entertain! And one of my favorite things about entertaining (besides the people!) is getting a chance to do a new tablescape! Not only does a pretty table add so much to the meal we are sharing, it’s also a great way for me to get my creative juices flowing. With that in mind, I wanted to create a spring floral tablescape. One that would work as easily for Mother’s Day brunch as it would for a spring dinner party or even a shower.
Since spring isn’t quite like Christmas, with access to so many decor items, I tend to keep it pretty simple. I adore white flowers, and I try to have them as a focal point. I especially love the crisp green of the leaves mixed with the bright white flowers.
