Do you love spring as much as I do?! To me, it is one of my favorite seasons. There is just something so lovely about the flower buds popping out, the grass turning green, and some sunshine on your face after a long (and in my case, wet) winter!
Happy weekend friends! And what a happy weekend it is. Today it is in the 80s – woot, woot!! I can’t even tell you how excited I am to have some truly warm weather! And how appropriate that I would be sharing some more spring decorating with you today.
Hi friends and welcome to another week of French Country Fridays! I’ve been so into decorating lately – feeling more inspired than I have been in a long time! Not only am I relishing adding some spring touches (I linked that post below), and moving things around in the house, but I’ve also just signed up to do the One Room Challenge again!
It’s spring! Well, not exactly or officially, haha! But it is March. And we sprung ahead on the clocks this past weekend, so it’s as close as we need to be to decorate!
I know a lot of friends and readers who have asked me about decorating for winter or spring. It seems everyone decorates for the holidays, and that’s kind of straight up and obvious. Everyone gets that one. But winter and spring are another story. Especially when you don’t celebrate Easter, or when Easter is really late, like this year. It’s sometimes hard to figure out what the right balance is. How to do it easily. How not to get too “theme-y.” And how to do it without breaking the bank!
A couple of weeks ago, I shared some early spring decorating in the kitchen. Because spring hadn’t nearly arrived yet, and because Easter was still so far away, it felt a little early to bring out the bunnies at that point. But not now! This week I couldn’t resist bringing out just a few! So today I’m sharing some simple but festive ideas for Easter decorating. I don’t ever want to go too crazy or “themed” with my decor, but it’s such a cheerful season that I love bringing a touch into the house each year.
Hello again! I know it’s very irregular for me to be posting twice in one day – definitely not something that happens often! But if you’re a regular subscriber (and I hope you are!), you received an email with a new spring table post earlier this morning. And now, here I am with our weekly French Country Fridays post!
