As I’m sure you know by now, I love fall! The warm scents, cozy sweaters, changing leaves… they all just put me in the mood for more cooking and baking, and more entertaining. Today I’m sharing an earthy and warm fall table setting in tones of green and brown that’s perfect for any fall entertaining you might be doing. I’m loving these hues! They say fall, but in a more subdued way than the bright oranges and rusts.
We are in the middle of a heat wave and I’m dreaming of cooler weather and falling leaves. But while I’m waiting, I’m finding ways to be creative, and one of my favorite things to do is create tablescapes. Fall entertaining is one of my favorites! For me, there’s no easier time to entertain – I love that the food is things like a roast chicken and vegetables that can just be thrown in the oven. This is the season of cozy, which for me, calls for more time with family, cooking, baking, and entertaining.
Hello friends, and welcome to another edition of Styled + Set, the wonderful entertaining blog tour hosted by my friend Lory of Designthusiasm. I absolutely love doing this tour as there are so many talented bloggers, and I always get lots of inspiration from the gorgeous tables they all share! If you’re looking for even more tablescape ideas, be sure to take a look at my free e-book, featuring twelve of my favorite tables (one for each month of the year!)
Hi friends! Today I’m excited to be joining the Project Design group, hosted by Classic Casual Home, Most Lovely Things, and Rough Luxe Lifestyle. When they asked me if I wanted to join in this month and the topic was fall doors and tablescapes, well, you know how I love a good tablescape – I couldn’t say no! And if you didn’t get a chance to check it out, I’ve recently written a free e-book on tablescapes! I’ve shared twelve of my favorite table settings, along with sources and all my tips and tricks!
Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed the holidays, and I also hope you’ve had a chance to do some relaxing and unwinding after the busyness of the season.
As each year comes to a close, I usually take this last week to relax and recharge. And also, to take stock. One of the things I like most about blogging is the fact that everything is documented; it’s fun to go back and look at what I was doing, interested in, and talking about during the different points of the year. And, I love seeing how each post has done. It’s sometimes surprising to see what post did the best, and what people responded to the most (and those two are not necessarily the same!)
Happy November! Today I’m sharing a warm and cozy Thanksgiving table using the rich colors of fall. And I’m joining some blogging friends who are also sharing their tables as well. This is my second Thanksgiving table this year and I wanted it to be quite different from my first! In fact, I love doing tablescapes and over the years have created quite a few! If you love setting tables, make sure you check out my free e-book with twelve of my favorites (one for each month of the year!)
