Hi all, and welcome to our weekly dose of French-ish inspo, French Country Fridays! This past week has been a flurry of organizing here (my obsession with “tidying and “marie-kondoing” is continuing, haha!) Last week I did my entire kitchen, and this week is the pantry which has involved re-painting the inside shelves as it had never been done. I always get this purging and cleaning bug in January, how about you? Are you one to organize and start with a “clean slate” for the New Year?
Hey everyone – hope you’re all doing well this week! I’ve been so disorganized and discombobulated since the beginning of the year – I literally don’t even know what day it is! Is this a January thing, or is it just me?!
I’m super fired up to re-organize, purge, clean, and putter. But I’m also behind with unpaid bills and stacks of papers on my desk! But, I promised that I would be doing a post all about winter decorating tips, and I’m here to keep that promise!
Good morning friends, and welcome to my first Christmas post of the season! I know it’s a little early for some (ie; my husband, haha!), but as bloggers we love to decorate early and, hopefully, inspire others. So on that note, today I’m joining the most amazing group of bloggers for Ella Claire’s Seasons of Home Holiday Series. This group is so talented and full of style – I just know you’ll find all kinds of inspiration from them!
We’ve all talked about it, and we’ve definitely all felt it! As soon as I take down Christmas, I’m relishing the clean, pared down aesthetic. For awhile. And then, not so much. My house starts to feel pretty bare, and on top of that, it’s cold, it’s dreary, and it makes me long for spring.
Hi everyone! I’m joining some blogging friends today for a small blog hop sharing Christmas inspiration. I actually intended to share my Christmas entryway as part of my Front Porch Tour last week, but I hadn’t finished the garland and just couldn’t swing it that early. Then I had several cloudy days which made taking pictures impossible, so it just worked out to share it now.
Well, it’s only a little over two weeks until Christmas (how did that happen?!) and I know this is when the stress levels can really go up. Between ordering cards, hosting events with family and friends, having to bake or bring food to parties, and decorating our own houses, sometimes gift-giving can feel like a chore. However, I’m here to say it doesn’t have to be! I know there are people who don’t relish the job of hunting for gifts, but I actually love it. And filling the stockings is one of my favorite things to do! My husband and I still fill each other’s stockings and I bet we will even when the kids are gone!
